Or: How many summons are needed to get a Legendary Challenge Event Hero?
It’s important to remember that Challenge Event Heroes have EXTREMELY low summoning odds. No amount of summoning will guarantee a Challenge Event Hero.
On average, in a 10-pull, you have a 2% chance of summoning Rumpelstiltskin.
But that statistic can lead our minds astray in exactly how our odds play out as we continue summoning.
Some useful insights:
18 times out of 100, you’ll get Rumpelstiltskin by pull 100
63 times out of 100, you’ll get Rumpelstiltskin by pull 500
95 times out of 100, you’ll get Rumpelstiltskin by pull 1500
99 times out of 100, you’ll get Rumpelstiltskin by pull 2300
Putting that in Perspective
82 out of every 100 people won’t get Rumpelstiltskin by the 100th pull
If 1 Million players each summoned times, 820,000 of those players wouldn’t get Rumpelstiltskin
5 out of every 100 people won’t get Rumpelstiltskin by the 1500th pull
If 1 Million players each summoned times, 50,000 of those players wouldn’t get Rumpelstiltskin

I highly recommend reading these three threads for more information and context on summoning odds:
If you’ve read them a million times before, you may consider reading them again before deciding on your budget for summoning. A little time spent deciding on how much money you want to risk on summoning goes a long way to avoiding disappointment, frustration, and regret later.
I have a First World Problem going here here… I want to increase my total power but at the same time keep my Rainbow team… I just pulled Rumpelstiltskin & was thinking about adding him to replace Richard as blue so I could add his emblems to Telly to increase my total power & get rid of 1 of my emblem conflicts… I’m trying to decide if it’s worth losing the hitting power & D of Richard to do it… This is my current team:
Seshat +7
GM +9
Telly +7
Richard +6
Neith +3
I also have:
Santa +7
Isarnia +7
Malosi 3/70
Quintus 3/70 both sides Costumed
Clarissa about to fully Ascend
UNLEVELED:
Norns
Inari
Khagan
Justice
I really liked the thought of Telly flanked by GM & Clarissa because the enemy would have to fight under constant Burn & Poison but Clarissa is Paladin so I’d still have that emblem conflict…
BTW: I’m running at least +11 mana troops for everyone except Blue is the +12 D troop but I do have +11 mana Blue to use…
What is ur opinion of adding Rumpelstiltskin in place of Richard? Or do u see a better team I could use?? Thank u for any help u can give!!
I’d do it with my eyes closed, but wait for the nerf result of Telly.
Rumple flanking Telly is a great option and they don’t fight for emblems like Richard.
I have him and I would really like to fully ascend him, he always impressed me quite positively when I fought against him.
But unfortunately I have no telescopes (better, I have 7 but Miki is first in line, as we’re moving to 12* titans) and no emblems (still have to give Ursena 5 nodes to get the mana generation bonus)
I wasn’t expecting much of anything in my summons and lo and behold, I pulled him, Hansel and Gretal. Guess they didn’t want to break them up😄
And now I know to level him up though it will be a bit before emblems right now.
@vAndao
Well worth it. He will surprise you with his unexpected specials and good tiles damage. Expecting a healing when your heroes are weak, instead, he’ll just crush the entire opponents with his devastating blow.
Or he’ll just drew the star out of nowhere when you badly need them.
He is an Quintus, Kiril and mini Rigard in one!
@HerrKa
Wu and Ranvir caused many misses but never a single misses from Rumpelstiltskin. He just surprise you with few unexpected tricks up his sleeves.
All of his specials are useful. Not really matter which one he will cast at any time but so far he had been very reliable.
From my statistic, the most was the skull, followed by the cross with the star appeared to be the lesser of the two.
