 Counterattack At the start of each battle, this Hero counterattacks with 60% of the damage received for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Twilight Tricks
  • Draw a card for a special effect:

  • Skull:
    • Reduces max health of all enemies by 550. Max health can’t get lower than 30% of the original max health.
    • All enemies receive Corrosive Poison for 4 turns. The Corrosive Poison deals 60 Poison damage and lowers the target’s mana gereration by -9% each turn. Deals extra damage against heroes with Minions or a Mega Minion. (Affects only mana gained from matching tiles or mana gained by the defense team at the of their turn.)

  • Cross:
    • Boosts health of all allies by 620. If health exceeds max HP, it is added as a temporary HP.
    • All allies are immune to new status ailments for 4 turns.

  • Stars:
    • All enemies get -54% mana generation for 4 turns. This effect can’t be cleansed
    • All enemies are immune to new buffs for 4 turns.

His costume is great, all 3 opitons are very good. This is my most wanted costume from challenge festival.

I wasn’t impressed with the original… But this is solid. I don’t like the risk expect… But the options are nice.

I don’t like random heroes, but there anything he does will screw you over. I would like to pull him, though I have long queue of blue heroes and two telescopes.

Yeah this dude is mental … Sure random mental …but still mental it wouldn’t be me first 5* blue to max … Its a luxury hero as they say …

I have a silly question about his first special. If a hero has full health (e.g. 1550 HP) and he fires, does the hero now have 1550/1000 HP or does it bring it down to 1000/1000 HP because the reduction also includes damage? If that makes sense :sweat_smile:

the reduction will count as damage in this case…same as eiora

I just pulled him , had the original sitting at 3-70 for years !
I guess I’m still not a fan of the randomness, but since all 3 options are great…I think he’ll get the scope !

Also pulled him today…normally I’d be Happy, but I got Lord Loki from SE, then pulled Milena and now this trickster. So I think he’ll be last in the Line for scopes. Great hero indeed, interestingly very good on defense. He’s really difficult to counter, because if you want to take counters against all of his specials you need to take a very particular set of heroes.

The only disadvantage of him is that he basically doesn’t make damage (except corrosive poison) , so it’s really hard to kill somebody with him. He’s a full support hero, but very good support.

I guess the upside to him being more of a support hero means he’d be still usable and fun to play with at 3/70, while Milena and LoLo definitely have more benefits being full ascended first :slightly_smiling_face:

i have the original at 4/80, but I’ll be damned to ever pay to summon for a costume so I’ll just have to hope I get lucky with the coins i get from the quest.

Costumed Rumpels with magic troops lv 23 + mana node +20 + costum bonus 5% = 26%. Make him become fast. Only 8 tiles. He can fire…
love the costume version!

The options I would suggest for him would be:

  • Tank/Defense firstliner
  • Unreliable healer/Offensive support
  • Mayhem generator/Last resort table turner

I pulled him today very cheaply (only one 10x pull), but not thrilled. I was torn between Iris and Crystalis with my ready set of scopes and he didn’t settle the dilemma - frankly, he didn’t even enter the competition. A fun hero but I already have Lord Loki for fun. Rumpel is a weirdo you’d take for clowny plays when you already built the rest of your team against the enemy and don’t really care who takes the last slot. If I had a surplus of scopes and noone else really good I’d go with him, probably even have fun with him… But not in my case. I’d have 30 scopes and it still wouldn’t be enough for all the heroes that are worthy in my roster at the moment :confused:

Sad that both other costumes I could max immediately as I have BK and Panther on max and with emblems. And instead I got a clown that I won’t ever use probably. Sigh.

I’m actually pretty excited to level him up. Some are talking about the unpredictable nature of his special skill as a drawback, but I actually think it could be really useful on defense. The attacking team would be forced to bring a pretty unique set of heroes to the battle in preparation for all the different outcomes. And even so, I would think it would be somewhat tough to time offensive special skills when you have no idea what the heck is coming.
