It’s important to remember that Challenge Event Heroes have EXTREMELY low summoning odds. No amount of summoning will guarantee a Challenge Event Hero.

On average, in a 10-pull, you have a 2% chance of summoning Boss Wolf.

But that statistic can lead our minds astray in exactly how our odds play out as we continue summoning.

Some useful insights:

  • 18 times out of 100, you’ll get Boss Wolf by pull 100
  • 63 times out of 100, you’ll get Boss Wolf by pull 500
  • 95 times out of 100, you’ll get Boss Wolf by pull 1500
  • 99 times out of 100, you’ll get Boss Wolf by pull 2300

Putting that in Perspective

  • 82 out of every 100 people won’t get Boss Wolf by the 100th pull

  • If 1 Million players each summoned :one::zero::zero: times, 820,000 of those players wouldn’t get Boss Wolf

Boss Wolf needs a buff. Even if it’s switching him from Very Slow to Slow would be a nice edge to make him more popular,

Basically, we need more tank varieties in the game (nerfing one tank ahem doesn’t solve game balance issues.)


Agreed that buff is a must here if anyone should even consider using Wolfie. Talking about some heavy buff here, even as slow hero, i dont see any point in making him to 4/80, unless you got some crazy stock of 4* AM. It should be more straight to average speed tbh.
Yes this hero feels completely broken at current form.


12% direct mana cut
120% dmg to all enemies
Mana speed up to all allies

That would deal at least a tickle of dmg and buy a turn if Malo fired against him.

With only ailments and buffs he should become average mana to stay competitive.

It seems like a bad idea…but still
Have you ever used your Boss for attacking?
I’m curious if the ‘very slow’ rarely fired
or if you found enjoyment?

I’m considering advancing him, if only to build my Grimforest dream team.

I will never use him in defense, only attack.

Should I do it?

I’m so going to advance Red and Rumpel!

Boss wolf deserve his buff.
It would be nice to see him dispels buffs from enemies and does initial damages in some way: hit all, hit 3 or chain attack.

Then his very slow mana speed can be properly compensated.

Yup, needs a buff. Even making him Slow would fix him. Perfect tank but unusable. I have mine with +14 and use him in the fast raid tournaments and on attack with normal raiding.

Unfortunately, Boss Wolf is druid class and there are so many excellent heroes out there as candidates for druid emblems.

Alberich, Vela, Kadilen-Costume, even Freya. He will never get the emblems as the first pick… So sad.

I have two unlevelled Boss Wolves and would love to max one but I just cannot find a reason to do so. Hope they will give him some love with a buff so he can become a viable raid tank.

I love Boss wolf already! But i think as well that he need some buff. Because when i use him even for attack, with his skill to get more mana i barely can fell some of his mana up. I just want to use him more. Especially if the new type of war cones in, then he will be my purple tank.

How many tiles boss wolf will charge with this condition:

Mana troop lv.11 + emblem 20th (4% mana bonus) and if boss wolf already charge once (which give him +24 mana speed)

Can it be said total mana bonus = 9%+4%+24= 37% so is it true boss wolf can charge with only 10 tiles with that condition?

If he was slow, I’d use him as my tank
