Often players on the Forum wonder about what’s going on in Beta.

If you’re a regular reader of the Forum, then you’ll find that there’s actually abundant conversation about what’s going on in Beta at any given time.

And that’s actually allowed!

What’s restricted is images and videos — but discussion is ok:

The challenge is that information is often scattered around the Forum. I’ve created The Beta Beat to help centralize it for those who are interested.

The Beta Beat is a series of threads which are evolving as I get feedback on what’s helpful to players.

My main focus is giving some high-level guidance of what’s going on in current testing, so players outside of Beta can be better informed.

Like Beta itself, this thread is experimental and will evolve based on your feedback.

Information from Beta is frankly often mostly useless, so don’t get too attached.

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that heroes and features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release.

That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any information from Beta — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of hero skills to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to hero stats to be made, or for large chunks of new functionality to be completely changed.

Often Incomplete Information Circulates

Many of us have seen screenshots and other information shared on LINE, Discord, Facebook, and other groups — often without context or explanation.

These can lead to confusion and misunderstanding.

Often, early Beta information — the least reliable or useful — is circulated…and then updated information is missed.

I’m hoping centralizing some high-level information on the Forum may help to reduce this as well.

The first Beta for V61 is here with new Bear and Stag family heroes for Clash of Knight.

Additional Improvements & Fixes:

  • Hero League bug fixes
  • Museum renovated for better performance
  • Nemesis’ status effect description text edited for readability

So Clash of Knights will be back shortly. I hope they will also do the Tavern rework during this cycle and also implement the alpha aether quest. About time it becomes more available for F2P and C2P.


I hope this includes being able to select 3*, 4* or 5* so it will scroll you down to the top of the list for them, it’s annoying constantly having to scroll down

Never been to beta. Only mentioned by staff once during alpha aether/ LB2 beta test if memory serves well.


Yes, it was never been in Beta.

I suspect it will arrive with the arrival of Beta Aether so that people can LB2 their heroes fast, and they can start buying LB3 materials (Beta Aethers)


im lost here, did they show it yet? (i knew it would come, but i was expecting next year)

Sevaral updates ago we some people have received Alfa, Beta, Gamma and Omega Aethers.
This was happened even before Alfa Aethers were in Beta.
So Staff is planning to do further LBs that is sure.

Nothing was in Beta and other later Aethers in Beta.


Has anyone tested how difficult this is yet? In comparison to Normal and Hard

well… since the emblems, we basicly have one “lb thing” each year, so… no suprises here

I have played the first few stages of Deadly.
There are 3 stage effects on each stage and they are not the same as what we have for the other two difficulties.

They are completed easily on auto play with an 5k team.

It seems they are giving 5 Untold Tales Coins, but the tooltip still tells otherwise.
So it is probably a placeholder.

Anyway I will add a beta-beat topic about this later.

How much energy does Deadly use compared to normal and hard?

The first few stages costs 12 energy on Deadly.

It seems the Deadly difficiulty was arrived to Beta accidently.

So I might skip creating a Beta beat topic for it and some Stage effect is mentioning Mythic Titan.

In nutshell these were the stage effects:

  • Poision mist (like Atlantis)
  • Underwater (like Atlantis)
  • Bonechill (like S4) or Mythic titans’s Battle item interference (these two were alternating in subsequent stages)
