🧪 Early Information on Round 8 of Secondary Season 1 Hero Costumes [Part of The Beta Beat v61]

NOTE: Please do not, under any circumstances, share IMAGES OR VIDEOS from Beta in this or any public Forum thread. Violations can cause players to lose their Beta accounts, or threads to be closed down.

This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the new Round / of secondary costumes for Season 1 heroes.

Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

:performing_arts: Costume Bonus

Here we have difference costume bonus than the Summer Event Heroes.

Stat S1 CB S1 2xCB Summer Event Hero CB
HoTM CB
Season 2 Hero CB
Halloween Event Hero CB
Santa’s Challange Event Hero CB
Attack 5% 15% 3% 2%
Defence 5% 15% 3% 2%
HP 10% 20% 6% 4%
Mana 5% 5% 1% 1%

Costume Bonus Progression:

Stat Tier 1 Tier 2 Tier 3 Tier 4 Max
Attack 0% 1% 2% 3% 5%
Defence 0% 1% 2% 3% 5%
HP 0% 2% 4% 6% 10%
Mana 0% 1% 2% 3% 5%

If you already have a maxed costume, and you start leveling the second costume, then this will be costume bonus on your other costumes:
(The non ascended new costume will have 0% costume bonus before you ascend it, and afterwards it will have Tier 2,3,4 Max costume bonus)

Stat Tier 1 Tier 2 Tier 3 Tier 4 Max

boril it is i think
just a typo

That appears to be the rest of the 4* left. Still no words on whether 3* will get secondary costumes.

Melendor the Party Wizard? I am trembling at the thought.

Guess there’s a missing D - Bamboo Dueller ?

Copy and paste issue when expanding Hu Tao. (Links are for Gormek)

Poor guy.

Would like to get this costume, I still use her first costume regularly.

P.s. still no info on 3*. Looks like I will continue to save my keys…

I want Scarlet :frowning: need some nice C2 for her…

Chao - good costium will be nice to pull for it.

Sonia - sad, I hope she will get similar to Cademon C2…

Sabina and Melendor without overheal and with heal over time - useless

Tiburtus - can be useful… maybe…

all other I don’t care

Should be more creative for Wu :smiling_face_with_tear:
Should be better for Sonya … She is like 2* version of Felton :cold_sweat:

I’m not thrilled with any of them really. The costume bonus will be useful for there other versions, just not these. Sabina being a cleanser and not a debuffer is just weird. Kashhrek not overhealing is just dumb.

Boril- a bland generic costume. Coulda added a small heal or something
Chao- hitting 3 is good at fast speed
Hu Tao- shoulda got a Justice like treatment with increased damage per dead ally.
Kashhrek- def up as well, not just against special attacks, plus overheal woulda been amazing
Little John- isn’t bad for what he is but his first costume is just better.
Melendor- shoulda overhealed like Rigard’s second costume.
Sabina- weird iteration of her second costume.
Sonya- had such high hopes to be similar to Caedmon
Tiburtus- not a terrible costume by any means.
Wu Kong- meh so what.

i wish but surely it wont have that much  :hugs:

The biggest letdown is none of them being wizard or paladin.

Sonya - should be like opposite caedmon c2, like hit 3 target and cleans nearby with ailment protection
Boril - prefer like red 4 star from CoK, do nearby counter with mana cut, give him reduce damage
Melendor - should be like opposite rigard c2, do boost hp but dispell and atk buff
LJ - try to be hit 3 target and increase %, mana cutter / give minor mana over turn for all allies
Kashrek - give him some love, do heal boost overturn all allies
Sabina - looks ok buff, better with boost/boost overturn
Tiburtus - maxhealth reduction not help much, prefer special debuff, or mana cutter/mana debuff generation
Wu - make him robust, just atk buff, it is rare for yellow epic
Hu tao - try new, hit 3 target increase % do atk debuff for target or do def buff all allies
Chao - looks ok but new thing better do mana generation or give minor mana

hope this making s1 heroes can be competing all new strong hero

Majority of these are uninspired, boring and just plain meh

Sad for Melendor and Sabina.
Where other 4 star Healers got upgraded to Boost Health.
They just have Normal regen HP

It’s sad that Sabina and Tiburtus might be the only two that give me some form of intrigue to try for them/getting them as duplicates. The rest are either uninteresting or the missing Balance Updates to the base forms, Wu Kong especially, whom seems to have just saw people weren’t using cWu a lot and decided “Just make it like base but more attack with less accuracy.” That would especially reads like a balance update rather than another gamble for a chance to get an improved Wu Kong.

Delete Kashhrek in his entirety. Nobody seems to know what to do with him or to give him something that justifies why he can’t do anything further than his nearby allies. Chakkoszrot could probably “heal” more allies if he had the ability to do so.

Will be checking old threads to see if Scarlett was part of an old beta thread or if she’s not getting one.

Saturday Night Fever🪩

I agree… most heroes 2nd costumes should have been better and more respect… This is the historical classic heroes that we all love (esp. Sonya to me since she was my first 4*)

Among 11, only Scarlette, Boril & Sabina look ok to me

Sabina and Melondor are good as they add nice skills. The rest are just meh…
Poor Sonya… didn’t get the hit 3 like Caedmon…

I would still summon until I get C2 Gormek, C2 Sabina and C2 Melendor then I am out of this portal for a while…
