Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

Frond !!! Wow is the only thing I can say WOW OP

all hail to the announced special skills cap some weeks ago

just ridiculous most of the heroes that came to beta today

Hey. First purple silence hero though

We already have the prurple surfer dude from summer event who silences 3.

Some new mechanics in the skills of these heroes, which are kind of pointless if they come from a single hero in a single portal, drowned by straightforward but op heroes.

My thoughts on the new batch:

  • Frond: Another good counter to overhealer and he is hit-3 at fast speed, much improved vs Aouda who hit 1 only.
  • Hornfel: Good damage. Am not super excited about the knockdown effect though… Max troop attack is +20% to +32% depending on your troop type. So is this essentially a quasi attack down for 2 turns?
  • Nautica: This one is crazy strong IMO. You can easily pair her with two slow heroes and get all charged in 9 tiles even without many high level mana troops. Crit chance another big plus
  • Shaal: Assume he deals 250 damage to 5, that is 1250 in total which will translate to c.500 hp heal for all. Cleanse always handy. An improved yellow Anzogh.
  • Tenebrae: Not a big fan of him. I think it would makes more sense he is the purple C2 Lianna. The sould bound mechanics is pretty complicated but IMO useless as target one only. 395% sniping is very weak in today’s game - shouldn’t he just kill the target with a 550% or 600% sniping?
  • Bonechill: I like him. We don’t have tons of 4* ice hit-3. Shall pair well with 4* blue ninja, and c.Triton, Grimm etc.
  • Rustbeak: Not a big fan. Support for 3 only is always a NO for me.

To me, Frond and Nautica stand out. Decent to meh on the rest.

So new dodge hero now can dodge normal/tiles attack too?

Wow Nautica is super weak - make it increase mana to all and add 800% to all as well.

Nope, the beach hero Mortimer is the first dark silence hero

The game is such a way that it is so amazing to play . The way it all shows in the same battle all are amazing and awesome .All the games out there are so good and so amazing that everyone is just good and my favourite games are motion games and sonic games.

Attacks like what, normal attacks included? So this is the ninja family bonus on steroids. Easily going to be one of the most annoying 3* on tourneys

This dodge should include normal attacks, not just special skills. If that’s the case this hero on def is going to change the game for the players of mono

I would imagine you are talking about 3* tourney coz I can’t imagine someone using her for any other defense scenario in PvP.

I would be equally surprised that someone is going mono for 3* tourney, as I believe majority of the players with some squad depth will opt for 3/2, 3/1/1 and other combo.

There are many counters to him - Tyrum and Mnessues (who dispels), Felton (who reflects enemy buff), and Joukahainen (who dispels and blocks enemy buff). Maybe there are more.

The biggest issue with buffing 3 is you can use someone like Tyrum and Mnesseus to hit the enemy in the wing position to take away the buff… Plus he does ZERO damage so I will happily dump tiles into him until he is dead. Reminds me of Hanitra (which buffs all). Can be annoying but never a threat.

Well actually I kind of thought about her on rush flanking strong tanks like aramis. She gets normal attack dodge and special skill dodge which means a conventional dispel skill isn’t foolproof. Heroes like Aramis must be dealt with ASAP and even a dodge or miss will be a setback if he is allowed to stay on. Aramis also protects her with ailment immunity, so they cover each other’s bases well, not to mention protection for the wing hero. She also overheals with her construct passive which i guess is something

All I can say is there are so many OP yellow out there and he is nowhere to be close. Of course it is up to you how you wanna set up your def team. So good luck with that.

Frond: Wow. Yet another fast green Hit-3. As if we didn’t already have enough of these.
Hornfel: I like the new mechanic. I don’t think it would be that good in practice, probably mostly on titans, but it’s an ability that is only available over items rn, so definitely interesting.
Nautica: I really like mana increasers. Good hero.
Shall: Very clearly a tank, but probably only good at a lower level where people rely more on strong colors and non-boosted healing is more of a problem.
Tenebrae: Mana Control and quite a bit of damage. Seems like a pretty good aggressive support.
Bonechill: Fast Hit-3 with defense down… Seems like a 4* that is almost better at the 5* level than at the 4* level.
Rustbeak: The dodge and the fact that only the career and nearby are affected seems like a tank ability, but crit chance isn’t all that useful on defense (mostly for titans, but Melia is better for that) so idk.

It looks like Ninja family effect which has much higher chance.

BTW, anyone who thinks that Xnolphod needs to be back to pre-nerf version (20% mana!) now even without costume? I mean look at Nautica. 30% mana? Wow. I hope they will buff Xol. More precisely, just put him back to where he was, PLZ (?)
