Special Questions for Trials of Decimation
Trials of Decimation has some good healer options — did you bring any healers?
Fighter Boldtusk and Wizard Kiril are hugely helpful for their mix of buffs and healing. Kiril is particularly helpful as a counter to Boss Ulmer’s defense debuff. Do you have either, and did you bring them?
The Wizard Class has several excellent mana controllers with Proteus, Merlin, Onatel, Hel, and Guinevere. They can be an excellent approach to preventing the Bosses from firing in the first place. Do you have any of these heroes, and did you bring any of them along?

Did not change my team. Went fairly easy, Hu Tao blinding the bosses, Proteus keeping their firepower down and the little they had to give was answered by Elena’s riposte. I use Kashrek, so that the green tiles do go unused. Emblems for Boldtusk and Guinivere, Trainer goes to Grimble.
So my team will be boldtusk, kiril, JF, magni and anzogh. I won’t be focusing on killing ulmer this time as I will have def buff, JF’s vs ice def buff and anzogh’s element link ice def buff (I’m assuming these will all stack…)
Many changes to last time - because I wanted to try out my new heroes
I left out Missandra, Kiril… AND… Proteus!! ha!
New in my team: Costumed Melendor, Jean Francois, and Zeline.
The board Gods were not amused I left the purple dude on the bench and punished me with a purple board on 2nd stage. I said to myself: No, not this way! You won’t make me give up!
Hence I took timestops with me on final stage. What shall I say stubornness pays out
Edit: Forgot to add … Trainer to C. Cat, fighter emblems saved for BT when he’s fully levelled (not long now).
Wondering how far I should be taking guys like Kiril as currently I’ve no other high ranking wizards to give them too. Will give that some further thought.
Used two small healtpotions, one small mana for Proteus and two arrows, trainer feeded to Vivica to get her at 4/80 before war begins :-), she was at 4/78.
I used 6-7 mid healing potions, one antidote, one small mana.
No real problems at all. Merlin controlled mana successfully a couple of times — even managed to have it drain Balthasar twice with one application. Elena’s riposte added a good source of damage. (AoE slightly less than Colen would have been.)
Fighter emblems will go to Kingston. Wizard either Sartana or Jean-François (who hasn’t even started levelling). Trainer is going to my second Rigard, who is at 4/30 or so.
Between Hel and Prot 9 minor mana pots were used to keep the bosses at bay, even at that Oberon succeeded in firing once, and their slashes knocked off Boldie.
Fighters and Wizards emblems saved, more likely some emblems to Boldie, trainer saved for now.
