  • Yeah, I nuked the bosses from space. Ripley would approve.
  • I used some items to finish off the bosses, but it wasn’t the full arsenal
  • I used support items like mana, banners, healing, and maybe a battle item or two, but nothing too crazy
  • I just used some minor items, like healing, mana, or antidotes
  • I didn’t use any items

One big change was Marjana, finally fully leveled and +5, to replace Scarlett.
I missed Scarletts debuff and high atk stat, so maybe I kick out Danza next time.
A small problem I have with Marjana is her burn overriding Azlar, but she’s way more durable than Scarlett, so it’s worth bringing her along.

Now that she’s maxed I don’t know how to use the trainer hero. Either Elena or Khagan, but I propably won’t fully ascend either of them.
Emblems are for Marjana and Kage, but I don’t have enough food right now.

Lack of healer was a problem, so maybe I’ll bring some items next time, if I remember. I used an antidote to clear Nashgars burn. Azlar never fired, because I used my axes and arrows to finish him off. Scarlett resisted a bit with her talent, but I managed to kill her before she does the same to me.

After my initial board setting the board was bad and I used more items than I wanted to.

My Team Last Time

My Team This Time

Last time I said:

And so she did:

The Battle

This one remains fairly easy, despite a lack of healers, thanks to being able to do a lot of damage fairly quickly, and the benefits of Scarlett and Little John’s debuffs.

I used minor healing, one antidote for Wounds, and one Time Stop, which I probably could have done without.

Shiny New Emblems

Grimm stepped up to +18, which is as high as I’m taking any heroes for the moment.

And Guardian Jackal stepped up to +6.

Burned Alive

Azlar ate the Trainer Hero, and stepped up to 2-54.

Jackal - Grimm - Margaret - Kage - Azlar

Forgot to bring antidotes, but Inari dodged Azlars burn for the whole team. Every boss casted once and I used 10 health potions, an axe, a dragon and a bomb. Trainer saved.

Watch the boss fight.

Same team as last time.
Scarlett boss had some issues with LJ, i believe, dont know what happened between them, but she fired on him till the end until he killed him, she probably knew from the developers that LJ was kinda squishy.
Other than that no issues on this trial apart from the part we all seen happining, when the board is closing on you after a few moves, did like 2 or 3 yellow diamonds and yellow tiles kept coming.
Minimum item usage, potions and 2 superandtidotes.

Done and dusted, woohoo. Same team as last time but my Super Grimm is +18 now and an absolute beast. I highly recommend 2x Grimm for those even thinking about it. I acquired some better troops too but forgot to swap them in:

Used all my 2* health pots and one dragon attack (silly move) but the battle went easy enough, the team even absorbed one hit from Azlar without antidotes. Super Debuffed Azlar has a lot of pain coming his way:

Zim (currently 4-60) will eat the trainer when she hits 4-70.

My team

Same team as last time, although my heros are all a bit stronger. Early stages were straight forward.

As is now habit, all specials were ready to fire at the Boss stage. Firing Inari’s special just before bosses’ mana was full was entertaining to watch, as most heros dodged impending danger. I still used turtle banners to lessen the impact of any stray fire.

I took out Azlar first, and once I was able to ghost tiles, Scarlett and Naz quickly fell. My Scarlett was the only casualty. (I should have been paying better attention :slightly_frowning_face:). Thankfully, antedotes and health pots treated most wounds.

Trainer and emblems into my inventory. My current red project is a second Wilbur, but perhaps I should switch to Azlar?

First try to this Trial, bring some items just what I have (5 super health, 5 mana, 2 dragon attack and 2 time stop), because my forge is still in upgrading to lvl 17 (1 days 16h)… lets see what the result,… drumb bell pelase… :drum:

My teams:

Blue tiles helps alot here, and Danza swords ofcourse make them blinds and nice damages…

Azlar fired once to my teams, only scarlett not survived, last mana for Grimm, and ready to fire…

Tada… :tada:

Trainer for Wilbur.

Barbarian emblem for Grimm.
Rogue keep for Jackal after maxed.

Notes: I will level 2nd Grimm for sure, but after Kiril (2.32), Boril (4.35) and Triton (3.60) finished.

My Team,
Gretel, Inari, Kage(7), Khiona (3/70), Gravy. Small and Medium Health pots, Axes and Bombs. Went in with all bars full. Gretel and Inari kept them all at bay while Kage and Gravy kicked butt. Only used a couple health pots on Gretel and Grave and would toss axes and bombs once in a while just to keep the tick damage at bay. Trainers are sitting tight till September HOTM.

A flock of 3* all got replaced. This time it’s an easy ride with Grimm60 Kelile60 LittleJohn60 Grimm460 Scarlett60 and mediumheal axe bomb dragon. Used an axe on every other mob wave, and half the heals. On the bosses, started with dragon and bomb, then nothing else. They never got to fire. Maybe I could have saved the dragon attack if I used some heals during the bosses.

This is one of the easier trials for me. WHile I can finish all of them, some I have to bomb to finish. THis one I use Grimm, Gormek, Domitia, Kelile and Scarlett with Grimm and Dom emblemed. I might have used a few healing pots on the last stage of the 3rd trial but that’s really it. Some of the other trials though are absolutely horrible. I can’t recall which right now but there one with mostly healers and its like the Trial of Nonviolence…LOL

My team this time is the same as my team last time. On the bench are two Jackals, Gretel, and Tony Danza. I am not currently leveling anyone that could be used in this trial. Azlar could show up down the road (but slow mana, we HATES it).

Got to the final bosses without issue, though it did remind me that both Grimms and Scarlett are a bit on the fragile side. Even with the diamonds, the boards were less kind; each boss went off once. I used some antidotes to help heal after my health pots were gone. Next time I will drop the minor mana for regular health pots.

I lost a Grimm to a regular attack from Scarlett before she fell. Barb life, y’all. The loss did not matter, as I had more than Nash could handle by himself.

I’m going to hang on to the trainer for now. I should probably be leveling Elena, but I want to see more from the beta costumes, first. I would not want to give her rings twice. Nat is 3.70, if I get a couple rings I may ascend her.

Emblems go to Kage and Scarlett.

Used unmaxed LJ instead of Kelile +1 for the mana control, even though he is green against red bosses. Considered putting Kelile instead of Jackal for a 2-2-1, but Jackal’s high attack and v. fast finally make the cut.
Glass canon team :joy:. Alice has the highest defense at 601

It went pretty smoothly, LJ died at the hand of Scarlet but fire twice. Eventually, Azlar and Nashgar fired too, but with antidotes and health potions, and Alice’s special well timed, it was no real threat.

Finally finished Grimm at +18
Rogue emblems are being kept for Alice
Trainer for Kiril!

how did you do without healers?
Killed it. No issue.

Are you able to put together a strong offensive team?
Hmm… Grimm, Grave, Khiona, Inari, Gretel. Yup.

Did your team change notably since last time?
No. Usual suspects.

What items did you use, if any?
I used a single heavy health potion on the last stage. Turns out I didn’t need it.

What are you doing with your shiny new Emblems?
Saving up to 125 for Talent 8 on Grave. Feeding Jackal.

who’s eating the 3 Trainer Hero?*
Haven’t decided yet.

Anything else interesting to share?
I think we need more emblems added to these trials. Feels like they give too little for the WE investment.

My old team / feedback

New team: 3500 TP
0 changes made just heroes were leveled up bit further.

I actually like Inari, so have not had to swap her for Danzo yet.

The lack of healers is still worrying but with Scarlett reducing opponents attacks, it helps. This trial is definately on of tactics.

In the end used all health potions but got the win.

I suddenly have a lot of options on this trial.

I ran it with Grimm +11 / Grimm 3/60 / Margaret 3/70 / Marjana +6 / Kelile 4/70

Could have used Scarelt 3/58, but didn’t… This is the same team as last time, except Margaret has gone from 2/60 to 3/70, Kelile 3/something to 4/70.

Since there’s no healers here, I used 5 each of the two big healing potions. A couple of antidotes, and a few small manas.

The 3-star overshoots Scarlett to 3/60, so I’m waiting till after Atlantis to see if Scarlett gets blades now or later – I only have one pair of gloves at the moment (my plan is that if I get a nice red, Grimm gets raised, if I get a nice blue, Scarlett gets raised. If I get neither, Scarlett probably gets the benefit of the doubt, because I have a second Triton I could be leveling for war and no reasonable red projects…)

Emblems presumably stay on Grimm and Marjana, but embleming costs more iron than I can afford these days with the ridiculous costs of buildings…
