It’s time for Trials of Survival!

This is the Fifth of the Trials in the 8th Cycle!

NOTE: The Trials officially start at 7:00:00 AM (07:00 GMT). This post is scheduled to go live 15 minutes earlier at 6:45:00 AM (06:45 GMT).

If you do not see the Class Trial in Quests as of 7:00:00 AM (07:00 GMT), force quitting and reopening the app or restarting your device will usually work.

• Yeah, I nuked the bosses from space. Ripley would approve.
• I used some items to finish off the bosses, but it wasn’t the full arsenal
• I used support items like mana, banners, healing, and maybe a battle item or two, but nothing too crazy
• I just used some minor items, like healing, mana, or antidotes
• I didn’t use any items

Overall, how do you feel about Trials of Survival?

• I love all the Trials equally
• It’s definitely my FAVORITE of the Trials
• I like it more than many of the Trials
• It’s about average for me
• I dislike it more than many of the Trials

I only have 5 heroes available for this, so i could only do the first 2 stages…

Miki’s silencing helped a lot so I didn’t have to use any items. The new emblems will go to Azlar and Domitia.

That team is good enough to beat the last stage if you can make dragon attack for carpet bombing. See this:

I do not bring full carpet bombing this time, but still have bombs and dragon attacks.

Did having few healer options in the Rogue and Barbarian classes impact you?

Fortunately, the final bosses HP are only slightly above 3600, thus bombs and dragon attacks are enough to bring them to critical state. That way I can use axes slot and fill it with another health potion to compensate for the lack of healer.

Grimm-Danza-Kage-Marjana-Azlar
No changes to last time. Did use bear banners and some damage items.
I’m still stuck on talent 7 on Kage&Marjana. 125 emblems takes a hell of a long time to farm.
Trainer heroes are slowly accumulating on my bench. All my 5* are maxed, at 3/70 or doubles, all my 4* are maxed, got 5 3* s of each colour. I’m debating wether it’s worth leveling more 4* doubles or heroes I previously ignored. For now my efforts go into raising 1 and 2* heroes

Miki made my team this go around. With no healer I brought revive scrolls just in case. My focus was on taking out Azlar and I used 3 bombs to make sure he would not get his special off.

The Battle

I had my specials charged and a decent board lined up heading into the Bosses, so this proved to be straightforward.

I used some Minor Healing Potions and Antidotes, but that was it.

Oh, You Again

Due to starting to run out of anything better to do, I’ve been working on maxing heroes I had sitting at 3-60 for a long time, including my second Scarlett. So she ate the Trainer Hero.

This second Scarlett and my second Bauchan, who’s getting 1* while Scarlett gets 2*+, are the last reds in my leveling queue at the moment.

Did okay. Went as expected.

• The Barbarian and Rogue Classes have a lot of heavy hitters — are you able to put together a strong offensive team?

Yeah and a few outliers.

Nah, only one who has shown any significant growth is Grimm as he is at node 6 atm. And I added on my 4 star fire mana troop and 4 star ice crit troop which boosted my overall power to 2538.

• Did changes to your team make the Trials any easier or harder?

Nah, made em easier.

• What items did you use, if any?

A bomb attack to reduce attack along with some healing potions. Danza actually came through and only got one snowflake.

• What are you doing with your shiny new Emblems?

Rogue emblems are being stored for now, barbarian emblems are going to Grimm.

• If you beat Stage 3, who’s eating the 3* Trainer Hero?

Didn’t beat stage 3 for this one. If I had Danza and Kelile maxed or maybe some emblems then I would have done it.

• Anything else interesting to share?

Nothing significant. Except I am glad to have barbarian emblems going towards my heavy hitter.

But Survivability is one of my weaker trials, not enough good heroes for that…

Same as last time, although everyone a little stronger.

The battle…
was brief. Specials were ready to fire going into the boss wave. I used some health pots to keep everyone healthy, an axe before Azlar set fire to my heros and antedotes to counter the burn.

Emblems and trainer safe in my inventory until whenever.
