Please note that Challenge Event Heroes are amongst the lowest odds of any Hero in the game. Even with a large number of Summons, you are very likely not to get Challenge Event Heroes, particularly 5*.

I highly recommend setting and sticking to a budget for Summoning to avoid overspending and frustration.

  • If 1 million players each spent US$1,299.87 to do 500 Summons, 368,000 of those players would NOT get a particular Avalon 5* Hero

I know she is not the best avalon hero but still a 5* and i have some unused sorcerer emblems. She may be useful against taunters.

Still worth to pull in his event?

I’d say no. I am personally skipping it, even saving the free coins for something else (quite likely Slayers in early autumn).

Not bad to score BK or LotL but I wouldn’t say they are the heroes worth heavy chasing anymore. The other 3 are outdated and SG refused to give them any love over time.

Merlin isn’t bad for newcomers, still one of my favourite 4 star heroes. But that’s it.

After a relief presented by 10 stage new events, those 15 stages just deter me. Hated even seeing the event appear - just want to get my rewards and get out. Most boring stuff since the seasonal ladder.

I only use coins for a chance at the HOTM (havent got one since march), i wouldnt spend gems on it.

King Arthur, awful Art work aside, is good for titans and an upgrade to even a limit broken Nordri even at 3-70. Other than that I agree with you.

I won’t be summoning at this one. For one thing it’s one of the two events where I actually have most of the heroes - I only lack LotL and Guinevere. Guin I can live without, and although LotL would be lovely my queue of decent greens is already long enough. Merlin, Lancelot and Bauchan are nice but not must-have. But the main point has been covered by @Suicide_Bunny - that they’re mostly outdated. Given the very low odds in challenge events it’s not worth throwing a lot of resources at heroes who are more like hanging on than cutting edge.

Mind you King Arthur is one of only two ice elemental defence down legendaries, the other being the past HOTM Frida, so if you’re desperate (and rich) and Nordri just isn’t hacking it for your purposes he might be worth a punt. BK is still good despite the many counters that have come along since his all too brief reign as The Tank. LotL works well with new formations (Grimble and C. Gormek make short work of her though). It’s not an awful portal but probably not really worth it these days.

Somewhat off topic, the other event I have all but two of the heroes in is Teltoc. Unfortunately the ones I’m missing are the best two (Panther and Gazelle). I have no legendaries at all from any other challenge event portal, nor from the summer or Christmas seasonal events, and only one from each of Springvale and Morlovia. That kind of illustrates the odds.

Frida is (imho) better than him and easier to get (when featured in ToL, Atlantis). And Nordri covers their role now, so throwing a fortune chasing that isn’t really worth it… Especially now that you can limit break Nordri. Of course, better to have Arthur than Nordri, but it isn’t that you can’t play efficiently without him. It’s an upgrade, but is that upgrade worth hundreds of USD - I don’t know, I feel like new portals, new heroes will be better value for that price.

You’re probably right, but personally Frida still eludes me. I had some extra gems so I did a 10 pull, got the HOTM. Not doing any more pulls. I only ever chased one hero, never never never again will I chase a hero, its just not worth it no matter how good that hero might be, in my opinion.

They should add new hero’s or give them costumes to these, to me, old outdated events.
If I have to choose between using coins for these heroes or the newer heroes, I would just rather hold off for the newer ones.

There is so few 5* in this batch it’s just not worth it for me. I may do one for ‘giggles’, but not going in full.

Congrats! I would LOVE Morgan Le Fey! Also, in case you weren’t already aware, pumping up her attack with emblems will increase her DoT :slightly_smiling_face: making her super deadly (and thus, for me, desirable)

After 7 months of sparing gems (f2p) i did 22 pulls. I did not expect miracles, I was just hoping to get Merlin and Bauchan (and maybe Devana :smiley: )

Noo, totally not.

If they want people to pull in these old events, they should rework these heroes to make them viable again.

Whoever has them pulled in the past, will benefit instantly and be happy about it. Those who passed on them thinking they are too weak to chase, will feel encouraged to do so. Win-win for both SG and players.

But the idea to add costumes here, or yet more heroes to further dilute the pool and hide power behind ridiculous odds is insanely greedy addition to already insanely greedy game (5 heroes at 1% is 0.2% per hero; 8 heroes at 1% is 0,125% per hero, with still good chance you pull a dupe of the old one you already have). No thanks.

I know her damage scales with her attack stat, i have some experience with Lady Locke, i will try MLF against Krampus teams, should work fine.

Not quite. The strong elemental defense down heroes are the ones that hit 3, not hit 1. Which is why King Arthur makes quite more seldom appearances than Frida for example. Plus his attack stat is pretty low so I don’t see that being very useful on titans. But at least vs titans Nordri’s attack stat is even lower so yes.

In general, I find this event, as all other with a WE 1 cost stage pretty good since they allow for farming craft&ascension items/recs/coins/xp/feeder heroes all at once. But the portal is mediocre to bad, unless you want to chase Black Knight and Lady of the Lake.
