Or: How many summons are needed to get an Epic Challenge Event Hero?

It’s important to remember that Challenge Event Heroes have EXTREMELY low summoning odds. No amount of summoning will guarantee a Challenge Event Hero.

On average, in a 10-pull, you have a 56% chance of summoning Bauchan.

But that statistic can lead our minds astray in exactly how our odds play out as we continue summoning.

Some useful insights:

• 81 times out of 100, you’ll get Bauchan by pull 20 (5,200 gems)
• 95 times out of 100, you’ll get Bauchan by pull 37 (9,900 gems)
• 99 times out of 100, you’ll get Bauchan by pull 56 (14,800 gems)

Putting that in Perspective

• 19 out of every 100 people won’t get Bauchan by the 20th pull

• If 1 Million players each summoned 20 times, 190,000 of those players wouldn’t get Bauchan

• 5 out of every 100 people won’t get Bauchan by the 37th pull

• If 1 Million players each summoned 37 times, 50,000 of those players wouldn’t get Bauchan

• 1 out of every 100 people won’t get Bauchan by the 56th pull

• If 1 Million players each summoned 56 times, 10,000 of those players wouldn’t get Bauchan

I just got Bauchan from the Challenge Festival. Finally!

I was pleasantly surprised to see that he has a moving animation. No one mentioned it on the first thread for Bauchan.

Thank you @Liam_K! I waited many months to finally pull him, and now his special skill currently unmaxed drives me up the wall.

I noticed his eyes were closed when I exited the full screen for his artwork.

I’ll max out his special skill ofc, and then add emblems.

I noticed that for the heroes which have a moving animation, it is paused when you click out of the full screen (magnifying glass mode). For example:

I went def over HP because direct damage is a bigger / more frequent problem at the 3* level than is DoT, and because the relation between attackers attack and defenders defense is non linear.
