Or: How many summons are needed to get a Legendary Challenge Event Hero?
It’s important to remember that Challenge Event Heroes have EXTREMELY low summoning odds. No amount of summoning will guarantee a Challenge Event Hero.
On average, in a 10-pull, you have a 2% chance of summoning King Arthur.
But that statistic can lead our minds astray in exactly how our odds play out as we continue summoning.
Some useful insights:
18 times out of 100, you’ll get King Arthur by pull 100
63 times out of 100, you’ll get King Arthur by pull 500
95 times out of 100, you’ll get King Arthur by pull 1500
99 times out of 100, you’ll get King Arthur by pull 2300
Putting that in Perspective
82 out of every 100 people won’t get King Arthur by the 100th pull
If 1 Million players each summoned 100 times, 820,000 of those players wouldn’t get King Arthur
5 out of every 100 people won’t get King Arthur by the 1500th pull
If 1 Million players each summoned 1500 times, 50,000 of those players wouldn’t get King Arthur
More Insights & Reading
I highly recommend reading these two threads for more information and context on summoning odds:
If you’ve read them a million times before, you may consider reading them again before deciding on your budget for summoning. A little time spent deciding on how much money you want to risk on summoning goes a long way to avoiding disappointment, frustration, and regret later.
I agree, definitely attack emblems. Obviously Arthur really shines in a blue stack, and especially against red Titans. Using him alongside Miki and Isarnia I have been absolutely shredding red Titans. When it comes to raid or war defense Arthur is an interesting hero, and difficult to evaluate. Being average speed means in one respect he compares unfavourably with the many fast single target snipers out there. However his special shield and ice defense down are both pretty good. Are they enough to compensate for his lack of speed? Probably not. I almost never encounter him when raiding in diamond.
Started a first thread about him with two replies. Maybe I am just not interesting enough. Posting not the things which were needed? Пофиг. Managed my way. Maybe not the best one but this is the path I had chosen.
I use King Arthur at 3/70 on an alt account that doesn’t have Frida, and he survives because the titans are not super strong. So he definitely still has a use.
I wouldn’t replace cMagni as you want a hero that does DD to stack with Arthur’s EDD. You’re better off replacing Iris
Yeah it’s tough to cut a hero out of your titan team lol, but I guess the EDD and DD from cMagni/King Arthur have a bigger effect on damage than the +10% attack from Iris. Kiril is also more useful because he adds +30% attack
Totally get it, I guess there are many newer heroes that are great but just not meant to be titan specialists, whilst there are many old heroes that are. Miki for example is 3 years old but will always be in top titan teams!
