	Defense Up	At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +20% defense for 6 turns. In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.

Special Skill: Sonic Wall
Deals 210% damage to all enemies. All enemies get -40% accuracy for 4 turns. Chance to miss also applies to offensive Special Skills.

Classic Family

Heroes become stronger when teamed up with unique heroes of the same family.

Classic Family Heroes need to be fully ascended to receive the Family Bonus.

Bonus for 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 Heroes:

• +1% / +3% / +5% / +7% attack.
• +1% / +3% / +5% / +7% defense.
• +1% / +3% / +5% / +7% healing.

I don’t have much to say for Hu Tao. Nearly everyone will outgrow him fairly soon. That is assuming you got him early, if you got him late you may very well never use him. Emblems can be reset, but it would take a pretty bizarre scenario, IMO, to validate aethers on him.

I will say that early in the game, Hu Tao was on most of my seasonal and event teams. The reason being I didn’t have a lot of strong healers. Since I had somewhat weak heroes and a single healer, Hu Tao’s blind accommodated the single healer. I didn’t have to account for healing on enemy hits that missed. I did move on from that though after a few other projects finished.

He was annoying in D when he went off because back then cleaners were pretty rare.

For what it’s worth, I do like his art.

yeah, the relatively recent proliferation of fairly common cleansers (C-Caedmon, C-Sonya) has definitely made me fear the likes of Hu Tao and Colen less - but I do remember finding them much more of a pain earlier in my playing history!
