Are we really discussing old s1 heroes? I’d rather use ferrent azmia et al.

I´m not sure, but I think these cards are being made to be present here, perhaps for those who do not have any of the new heroes. These S1s - especially without costume - are bound to come to everyone sooner or later.

Boril is a great tank to start out with, I recall :blue_heart: And counter attack heroes are always extraordinary if one goes in underpowered - then it´s so nice to see a boss shoot themselves in the face pretty hard! :sweat_smile:

That’s me 2 years ago looking for some advice here and couldn’t find threads for S1 heroes!
I will never get rid of my Boril, mine is limit broken and fully emblemed. He helped so many times with hard levels of map stages, with tough bosses that I really can’t say a bad thing about him. Same with Cyprian. I love my classic riporsters!

I love my Elena. I think she’s the only riposter who does damage with her special, not just the riposte? I have a number of 5* reds, but she’s still the one I prefer to bring along :woman_shrugging:

Yes but Sumitomo isn’t S1, Isrod kind of is, but he isn’t.

I have him and he is in costume.
Both classic and costume are on max.
But I never took him past +11 emblems.
And in my opinion he isn’t worth the LB …
At the start of my game he was useful as a Tank in both war and raids and some early map stages.
However, there are many more newer / stronger heroes that are better in todays game.
These include Ferant and Azmia to name just two.
So my advice today would probably be not to level him and to save the mats.
He is currently sat on the bench and has been for quite a while now - just gathering dust …

I think for a new player, not spending much of anything. Boril remains a solid option.

Yes there are better 4 stars counterattack heroes now, but the availability of them is much less than the dwarf. Boril will work as a decent tank at lower levels, and help complete content.

Boril has never given me trouble back then because he has too much defence, so the counterattack doesn’t really do much. I’ve always feared Cyprian on the other hand because the counterattack would always do so much

major shout out to Boril. combined with Celidana, he let me beat the last floor of Ninja Tower impossible!

I am wondering what is the best tank now when you have all costumes. This original Boril with 125% riposte for 5 turns on self and near or the 2nd costume with less riposte for 4 turns but on all. And the 2nd costume has a bit better class with revive.

I am leaning to the original but can anyone give opinion?

I’m upgrading his costume now. I’m thinking it will be better than the original, counter attack to all only lasting one less turn. Plus you can stick him in the back and use him more situational.
