	Special Armor	At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +40% defense against Special Skills for 6 turns. In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.

Special Skill: Massive Cleave
Deals 185% damage to all enemies. The caster and nearby allies have from +30% to +70% chance of dodging special attacks that do damage. The higher the damage from the special is, the higher the chance to dodge it. Each dodge gives a moderate amount of mana to the target. The effect last for 4 turns.

Classic Family

Heroes become stronger when teamed up with unique heroes of the same family.

Classic Family Heroes need to be fully ascended to receive the Family Bonus.

Bonus for 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 Heroes:

• +1% / +3% / +5% / +7% attack.
• +1% / +3% / +5% / +7% defense.
• +1% / +3% / +5% / +7% healing.

I prefer costume to original, because of his slow speed - by the time he’s charged, the enemy is more likely to fire. that said, he’s just too slow - my Margaret is almost always ready to fire when I need her to, but C-LJ is not.

S5 had me looking for damage dealers that caused no ailments because every enemy is immune to everything ever or something. Broke out LJ’s costume and it’s been fun.

Prior I used his base form with regularity and essentially forgot the costume existed for any reason other than a stats boost. It’s fun to dodge though. Haven’t done much PvP with it, but I will sneak it in soon I bet.

I pulled both costumes. How does that dodging actually work? and what is considered high damage? And what is a moderate amount of mana? I believe a small amount is about 2% mana. Is moderate double that?

Maybe he is worth using now?

I don’t have any answers myself, but LJ’s dodge I think is very similar to Margaret’s, so this thread might help

Margaret - How the special works

I tried to search the forums for the below but couldn’t come up with a clear answer, many thanks in advance: (i) She has a lower chance of Dodge on DoT heroes such as GM due to initial 135% damage, so thats why she dodges the DoT itself as well? Or she practically dodges the whole special and as a result the DoT too (ii) Along the same lines, since there is no inital damage, she doesnt have a chance to dodge Jean Francois or she does at or around the minimum 30% mark as JF special still counts…
