🧪 Early Information on Round 1 of Secondary Season 1 Hero Costumes [Part of The Beta Beat v50]

This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the new secondary costumes for Season 1 heroes.


Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

If you already have a maxed costume, and you start leveling the second costume, then this will be costume bonus on your other costumes:
(The non ascended new costume will have 0% costume bonus before you ascend it, and afterwards it will have Tier 2,3,4 Max costume bonus)

SG is planning to add Familiy Bonus for Season 1 heroes, but it is not in Beta yet.

You can level any costumes what you want, and leave the second costume untouched.

Yeah exactly my thoughts :smiley: I wonder how fast he will charge on defense (vf) with that 10% costume mana bonus, 4% druid mana bonus and 20% mana from level 29 Magic Troops

He charges in 9 stones in normal mode.

With stats of around 900-800-2000 fully emblemed for defense.

Compare that with zocc around 700- 800-1500, also charged with 9 stones hitting 1 target.

I think Alfrikes costume will come a month or 2 later, so Quintus costume number 2 won’t hold that #1 VF tank spot for very long

Does a summon get you both costumes at once?

I’ll probably wait for the 4* healers to get v2 costume, bread and butter of my teams and an improvement to them which are easier to obtain will help.

They release a higher % for heroes to exit in summons, since we have a huge card of heroes released by SG. Or that the portals contain only those belonging to the event or season.

I get the heroes are better, but I really kind of hate this concept. Having to resummon a hero you may have already summoned twice if you got them prior to costumes and now having to summon them a third time … kind of dumb.

Can’t it just be S1’s are worse than paywalled heroes. They make due until you get better ones, that’s how it works. Layers upon layers of costumes, emblems, LBs doesn’t seem the way to go. This is coming from a F2P too.

Maybe if these costumes were balance adjustments and modified what you already had I would feel differently. That’s unlikely to happen though.

Can’t wait for 3rd tier costumes, I’ll never spend keys again the versions will come out so fast :laughing:
