In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.

  • Target and nearby enemies automatically cast Mindless Attack on a random ally when mana is full at the start of a turn during 4 turns.

We have a Alfrie replacement card. This card is faster, and you can control who gets mindless. Better, this card can also be used in regular raids with better effect than Alfri

So shooting Mindless at three targets at potentially average speed with insane stats. After all those years, Quintus suddenly managed to be OP. But his design is … weird for lack of better term.

for me hitting 3 is manageable

you can put cleansers/utility heroes in the corners and 1 of them is guaranteed to be safe. against alfrike it is random and can go either way

i find him much more useful on attack than alfrike for sure

take three circus heroes, i have Theobald, Faline and yellow healer lady, they will cleansed themselves

I was thinking on similar lines. I have Theo and he just cleanses himself of any ailment almost every turn. Also Clerics and Monks can still survive the mindless. I build the team around clerics and monks when i take on alfri team.
I have 2 Ana-belle cards. I am so excited about the healing she does when she removes debuff and buff from everyone. Started using her since yesterday and i feel how good she can be with the right timing.

Alfrike in Rush is devastating. All the scenarios described here may be a possible outcome of battling her, but in most cases mindless attacks are THE most nasty stuff of all nasty ailments possible… and Quintus can now deliver such stuff much faster than Alfrike outside of rush. Ok, not to all, but nevertheless… I like this costume!

Note that he is an druid class too, and has massive amount of HP. And with the superior druid talents its almost every 2nd hit when an minion is summoned, he will be an nightmare to get down.

It was brought to my attention that I missed the add the other old costume for which version is better question.
So I have adjusted that poll. and previous results for that poll are became hidden.

Agreed. This still won’t dethrone Alfrike for rush since hit-3 usually means the dumb AI actually only hits two half the time when used on defense. Plus like you said, since the hit-3 pattern is predictable, just put utility/cleansers in two corner and one of them is guaranteed to not be hit.

Offensively I’m a bit torn, still think the potential to hit the whole team with Alfrike is better compared to only hitting 3, but being able to target which 3 you want to hit is definitely very nice.

The same could be said for alfrike. I once have her hit only 2/5 of my team and she got heavily punished for it

Sure but then that boils down to luck :wink:

Main problem I see with c2Quintus is the hit-3 pattern is predictable, which means you could always setup your team in such a way that at least one counter is available and won’t be hit by mindless attack.

With Alfrike you could get lucky as you mentioned, or sometimes you could get extremely unlucky and she hits your whole team. It’s basically playing roulette at this point. Between the two, I’d much rather take my chances with c2Quintus, as he’s predictable and I can reliably counter him. With Alfrike you pray to RNGesus and hope for the best :joy:

I’m waiting for alfrike to arrive in FS, and hope I can pull C rumple, together with my loki. Then I can have a RNG rush team to troll the enemy

Don’t forget Salmon Loki and Chameleon! (and maybe throw in Norns while we’re at it too)

I think the ultimate troll defense would be something like cRump-Chameleon-Alfrike-Salmon-Norns

Bound to drive the attackers up a wall if both Chameleon and Salmon fire :crazy_face:
