🧪 Early Information on Round 2 of Clash of Knights Heroes [Part of The Beta Beat v44]

NOTE: Please do not, under any circumstances, share IMAGES OR VIDEOS from Beta in this or any public Forum thread. Violations can cause players to lose their Beta accounts, or threads to be closed down.

This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the initial release of the first Alliance Quest called Clash of Knights Heroes.

Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

Oh, I love that! Whatever they do to the skills, I hope that description stays :grinning:

Yes I want this hero only because of this effect
And a new 4* looks interesitng too!

Interesting new mechanics being introduced. Eloise seems to be a better Grimble as she’ll prevent new minions from sprouting up. Def. a Freya/Bera counter.

Also wonder how contagious poison will work with Rayne. They don’t expand on that at all. If he does start popping up, Zimkitty will be making a decent comeback on offense against him.

lewena ? isn’t this a bit to much ?

Hey, don’t look at me, I didn’t design them.

She only block talents from activate nothing special but a nice niche

ah yeah right … readed it to fast with skills, not talents

I really like that they finally created a hero that blocks Talent activations. I think that was long overdue.

Franz looks very interesting. Very slow speed is a bit of a bummer. So he’ll get used in rush tourneys/war. I do see some usage on titans. I imagine 50% increase in damage is going to be good for a mono green team against a blue titan.

Rayne: average snipers are never my favorite, but 748 poison over four turns is interesting. I’ll stay tooned for what contagiuos means.

Eloise: anti minion hero definitely.

Quintin: fast sniper with moderate damage, but that status effect looks fantastic. Pairs well with everyone: tiles, direct special skills, DoT, fiends, minions. Definitely my early favorite of the new heroes. The ability to say put this effect on a hero and then focus fire on all other heroes seems really nice. Does this also apply essentially 2x damage directly to him?

Lewana: ooo interesting new status effect. 260% damage to all at average is a solid hit. Add in talent blocking and it gets more interesting. I’m trying to think about how valuable this effect is. I don’t find talents to be the biggest annoyance in the game. I don’t think I’d build a team around Lewana simply to block talents.

I like the creativity with these heroes. None seem gamebreaking at first glance, but all seem decent and relatively fresh.

Is the plague blade same like spear of sir rooster ?

lewena block talent skill ? Is it worth ?

I think it is at least for offense. How many people on these forums, including myself, complain of Fighter Heroes resurrecting 7 or 8 times in a row. Or a Rogue just dodging everything?

She’s not the best out of the bunch, but does have a nice purpose. More niche so those with smaller 5* rosters she’s best kept at 3/70 for a while.

Franz also increases any damage over time as well. He’s worth getting imo

I read the “contagious” to mean you hit one hero and over the next turn or couple turns it “infects” the other heroes so they all end up taking poison damage over turns. Like you hit the tank, round 2 it “infects” the flanks, then round 3 it infects the wings. If there are no flanks or if, for instance the tank is hit, it stops with those it is next to.

This is what I am HOPING for because it is new and original but I’m not crossing my fingers.

Cool mechanics but most of them are insanely strong. Too much.

Can lewena’s block talent effect be resisted?

OMG! … awesome! I love it! :two_hearts:

Rayne is definitely female. Quintin, ambiguous, but pretty sure is male.

Lewena will be my new friend when going up against Frigg, Kingston, and any other Rogues and Fighters.

Also, here come the Ravens

I tried a lot to have it resisted or evaded and it never happened.

BUT

She’s average speed so I do not have a huge enough sample. It may be just RNG.
