There appear to be no changes to Thor from the last-seen Beta stats, skill, and design.

Avoiding Overspending & Heartache
Or: How many summons are needed to get a Valhalla Featured Legendary Hero?
Below odds are current as of June 30, 2020. Odds will change as additional S3 5* heroes are added to the “non-featured” hero pool.
It’s important to remember that Season 3 Valhalla Heroes have EXTREMELY low summoning odds. No amount of summoning will guarantee a Season 3 Hero.
On average, in a 10-pull, you have a 1.43% chance of summoning Thor.
But that statistic can lead our minds astray in exactly how our odds play out as we continue summoning.
Some useful insights:
13 times out of 100, you’ll get Thor by pull 100
51 times out of 100, you’ll get Thor by pull 500
76 times out of 100, you’ll get Thor by pull 1500
89 times out of 100, you’ll get Thor by pull 1500
95 times out of 100, you’ll get Thor by pull 2073
99 times out of 100, you’ll get Thor by pull 3186
Putting that in Perspective
Gems cost $99.99 US for 10,000. A 30x Summons costs $83.99 US.
87 out of every 100 people won’t get Thor by the 100th pull.
If 1 Million players each spent $281.97 USD to summon 100 times, 870,000 of those players wouldn’t get Thor.
5 out of every 100 people won’t get Thor by the 2073rd pull.
If 1 Million players each spent $5,805.92 USD to summon 2073 times, 50,000 of those players wouldn’t get Thor.
More Insights & Reading
I highly recommend reading these threads for more information and context on summoning odds:
If you’ve read them a million times before, you may consider reading them again before deciding on your budget for summoning. A little time spent deciding on how much money you want to risk on summoning goes a long way to avoiding disappointment, frustration, and regret later.
Interesting question. Nothing in the card states anything after the third used charge. It would make sense if the fourth charge will be reverted to the first charge. Beta testers would be able to provide answer to this.
In wars and in raids, the 4th charge may not be necessary as the first 3 charges used may already decimate the enemy. But this would be cool in events, charging his skill to the third and dole them out as gifts to the bosses in the last wave.
Biggest issue with Thor on defense is, by the time he charges to the third charge your team has either already lost, or your other heroes are charged and ready to absorb his impact.
I don’t think he is deadlier than Odin, or Drake but he will definitely show promise on flank with heroes that will give him time to charge up, E.G Bk, Krampus, LotL, Garnet.
He may even work as a tank. If you prioritize health and shield he may live up to a second charge if the enemy gets a weak starting board. Blind is very strong.
My thoughts about him. Unfortunately, he doesn’t really bring a lot to the table except for being a raid specialist. Outside of raids like farming, events and titans, he’s only a weaker Joon/ faster drake/ much faster justice. Don’t know why SG loves recycling blind ailments for holy when it’s the same recycled skills but tweaked in slightly different ways. Maybe if he has his own DOT, electric damage. That would be something nice to chase.
Hey guys! Super happy Kerberusz here! Managed to get him and to be honest that was a surprise pull, because last month Loki also showed up. The family is together now: Thor, Odin and Loki. What an awesome and beautiful trio! It really only Frigg who misses now from around the throne.
And who wonders, last year’s Atlantis was such a catastrophic theme for me that I could pull 1 Atlantis hero … drum rolls … Mok’Arr! The one and only Mok’Arr.
I think I quite maxed out Valhalla with this pull. Peace & lucky pulls for everyone!
It’s a stylized gimmick with no substance tbh. If it was a 10 stack that increases his damage output by 5% everytime he fires he is really a hero worth chasing. But I’m probably going to use him anyways. And this is coming from someone who doesn’t even have drake to be a snob about it
