This is akin to Atlantis Rises but is also quite different. In summary:

The Midgard Gnome is quite differnet to the Atlantis Seadragon in a number of ways:

  1. Limited to farming 20 per day; This limit accumulates to a maximum of 60 Gnomes (i.e. start on day 3 and you can still farm 60 gnomes). There is a notice showing how if more can be farmed.

  2. Drops Valhalla Coins OR Emblems OR Resource Bundles

With the addition of Valhalla Forever, there are now three featured heroes. In Beta, there were no change to the Portal Odds, however this is likely to change.

Much like the Season II Atlantis Summon Portal, the Season III Valhalla Summon Portal features a Bonus Ascension Material Chest, which contains a guaranteed Rare or Epic Ascension Material, and can also contain Rare and Epic Crafting Materials.

Also like Season II, the Bonus Chest fills with each 10 Summons, and there is a limit of 9 Chests per event.

Your progress towards the next chest also carries over to the next Valhalla Summon event if you still have chests in stock, just like with the Atlantis Summon.

Guess today is my 5* day. Trained Joon from TC20 this morning and with my first pull with POV coins

The Sumle is a dupe and the other pull was another Jarvur

Duh, I have all three featured heroes maxed already. Skip!

And of course the good old tedious Valhalla autoplay all day.

Now I have Uraeus, Bai Yeung, Norns, and Thor asking for darts. It’s between Uraeus and Thor, if anyone has some persuasion for me. Emblems would favor Uraeus as I pulled Killhare recently

What is this month? I did not use coins on atlantis as i had most of the featured heroes, i did not use costume keys as i have Richards costume and dont need horghall, now i wont use tokens as i already have Lady Loki, i dont need Thor because i have Drake and Roostley waiting for darts and only for Freya i wont risk getting a dupe. Oh and i want Alfrike, so no pulls for me this month. I guess i wont have Frosth then.

Go for Thor and never look back. Ever since I pull him he’s become core of my yellow squad.

Uraeus is swapped for Mica most often, I only take him when there’s Bera/Freya AND another minion maker behind them. He is also very nice for late levels of Ninja Tower (Thor falls behind on those).

Thor with his blind requiring only 6 tiles with mana troop is great. Then once you can ghost tiles sending match 3 into the void recharges him, so he just keeps swinging.

Only reason not to go for Thor is if you have no fighter emblems, but have a lot of sorc emblems. Thor could wait for you to gather more emblems.

I finally got Jarvur… in my seek for Brynhild and/or Almur for 3000 gems. Will now be relying on getting more Valhalla Coins.

Well, I thought Alfrike would be featured, as Fenrir and Norns were last months. So it seems to be no logic in this unfortunately, except one hero from the launching batch (Heimdall, Sif and now Freya).

What’s up with the featured ? Thor was just released, why he is already back?

Did 20 coin pulls and one ten pull… No 5* :frowning: it seems that valhalla odds for me are way lower than in other portals.

Guess I’m stacking up again for Alfrike…

On the other hand I have none of features and all of them are good, so probably not bad time to do some pulls.

Just finished S3 on Hard, i have tokens for 12 pulls, but i will hold off for now, as i want Alfrike to be featured. Met some gnomes on the way, it was quite a surprise that most of them dropped coins some even 15-20.

Still not getting why they drop atlantis coins like Candy and Valhalla coins/gnomes are so rare.
As i’ve already finished all levels it’s just autoplay but it’s really demotivating.
The least attractive event by far.

Thanks for the opinion and walk-through on reasoning. Would you mind explaining your use of Uraeus in the late-stages of the ninja tower since he only hits 1 target (though I know it would be a fairly hard hit)?

Yea, he basically hits hard and with mana perks taken along the way he basically becomes a fast hero, hitting as hard as Joon. I play 3-2 on Ninja tower, and when I take 3 yellows it’s C Vivica - C Joon - Uraeus, when it’s 2 yellows it’s C Joon - Uraeus.

Did a 10-pull today, ended up with Mist and Brynhild being new. Happy with those 2! Still no 5* for me, well I’ve tried.

I had 300 coins, then I had 300 coins in my goblin balloon, so I bought that… all 3* duplicates.
The event itself is just a boring and annoying grind. I have been farming a little but not much, it’s extremely tiring to do
