 Easy, Normal and Advanced Modes

New for 2020, there are now three Modes for the Seasonal Event — Easy (new), Normal, and Advanced. You can play any or all three, and must complete each Stage sequentially in that mode to advance.

The Modes are separated, a bit like Tiers in Challenge Events.

Unlike Normal/Hard Modes in Atlantis, advancing in the Easy or Normal Modes won’t give you access to the corresponding Stages in Advanced. You need to beat each Stage in each mode to progress. And unlike Normal/Hard Modes in Valhalla, the Modes can be played entirely separately — you could start with Advanced, for instance, without playing Easy and Normal.

:triangular_flag_on_post: Stages

Like previous versions of Springvale, there are 20 Stages per Difficulty Mode.

With the addition of Easy, that now means there are a total of 60 Stages across the three Difficulty Modes.

:no_entry_sign: No Hero Restrictions

Unlike Challenge Events, there are no restrictions on Hero or Troop rarity in the Easy, Normal, and Advanced Modes. There are also no restrictions on Hero Classes, unlike Class Trials.

You’re free to use any heroes you’d like!

:repeat: No Replaying Completed Stages

Unlike Challenge Events, Seasonal Events don’t allow replaying a completed Stage — much like how Quests work.

Once you beat each Stage, it’s locked, and once you beat the entirety of the Seasonal Event, you can’t play any more.

If you fail at a Stage, you can retry as many times as you’d like, up until the Event ends.

:star2: Epic Hero Tokens Can Be Used for Seasonal Summoning

{Image coming soon}

The Seasonal Summons replaces the regular Epic Hero Summons.

Because of that, unlike Challenge Event Summons, the Summoning Portal for Seasonal Events allows using saved up Epic Hero Tokens that can otherwise normally only be used for Epic Hero Summons.

That makes Seasonal Events the only place you can currently use Epic Hero Tokens for a chance at non-Season 1 heroes.

You’ll also have the same chance at the HOTM as usual when using Epic Hero Tokens. For information on the HOTM, see:

Summons Sharing Thread ==> {Link coming soon}

:cherry_blossom: Festive Stronghold

During Seasonal Events, your Base is updated in the spirit of the season.

For Springvale, this includes colorful eggs, and vibrant plant life all around your Base.

:left_speech_bubble: Share Your Teams & Results, and Ask Questions!

  • Many players will switch up their heroes used for each Stage, based on the monster/boss colors — are there heroes you’re using consistently for Springvale?
  • Are there any Stages you’re having a hard time with, and would like advice on beating?
  • Are you using particular items to beat Springvale stages?
  • How do you find playing with the Egg Bombs?
  • Do you have insights on strategy to share, or questions?
  • Is there anything about Springvale that you’re wondering about?

Apologies for the delay in this; it’s all up there now. Just missing a couple pictures here and there

nearly a full month for Springvale! i’ve been critical of many of the recent game discussions, but I am pleasantly surprised that we have more time to complete Springvale this year. Also means 4 free gifts instead of only 2.

most importantly for me, less stress about using my world energy wisely - I have more time to complete.

good job SG, for making the event last longer.

Cannot complain since i got Master Lepus out of 25 tokens.

Let’s classify the four week event as a quality of life improvement!

With what team power have you finished the new spring event on hardness level normal? It says you should have about 3500 to finish the last level, but I am doing just fine with 3050 and I am on stage 14. Does it get suddendly really hard?

There is a steep increase in difficulty in the last levels, but with proper usage of battle items you should be fine with your team power.

Agreed! With all the hate about this game, I’m shocked this fact isn’t more appreciated!

Congrats on Lepus. I am now working on him because I had other 5s in the pipeline. I also drew my 2nd Lepus today.

Me too, I was shattered, all I wanted was Woolerton.

Easter thanos. 5 eggs one turn.

And then boom and your team’s HP is halved.

This is my time for the event

I have been using 3x Green 2x Purple this event but decided for Advanced Stage 18, I would use mono blue… BAD idea, no tiles and constant bombs, I had to use all health pots, haha

The reason I did mono blue is because Squire Rabbit is the boss, and when I did finally get to him and get past his mob shield, he died in 3 or so tiles lol.

Stage 19 and 20 I will probably just go mono green or mono red. Probably mono green because then I can use Lady of the Lake + Hansel for mana, then Evelyn, Lianna and cMelendor

I had a lot of fun this time around. I mostly rainbow team’d the whole event. INCLUDING in Advanced. Though, I started stacking when Proteus died in Stage 23 Advanced.

The team for Advanced was:

Triton (eventually replaced with Thorne 3/70) / Gullinbursti / Kadilen / Wilbur / Proteus

When I went to stacking, I didn’t appropriately plan for Sir Roostley (saw the stage was gonna be nothing but dark enemies) and used:

Gullinbursti / Li Xiu / Boldtusk / Joon / Wilbur

Used that team for both 24 and 25. Was fine repeatedly see Roostley’s lance turn upwards and not strike anyone. Now, to wait until tomorrow to start using up all my Epic Hero Tokens. If nothing else, let’s hope I get Frosth!

What do you say @jinbatsu , 4* challenge legendary like we did Halloween and Christmas? I should have said it sooner, you have beat it already!

:beers:

Yup… I already did that… :upside_down_face: and this time I already finished advanced without specific challenge limitation.
Last time (since Halloween and Christmas), I do on every difficulity, easy (only 3* heroes), normal (only 4* heroes) and advance (4* and 5*), and I see you did the challenge with only 4* at adavanced dificulity and without Proteus… thats amazing… achievement.

I currently on normal difficulity stage 16 finished., so only 4 stage left. I will try with 4* only.
Then next use 3* for Easy dificulity. :muscle:

Fair enough. This summer friend, let’s try it. If you don’t want to don’t worry. The odds of me remembering on day 1 to remind you are well under 50%.

Been breezing through hard mode with this team. Still have 3 levels left which I plan to do today or tomorrow so will update if anything changes haha but this year I said forget mana control, just boost health to the max before the bosses and then purposely set them off and let them suicide. :stuck_out_tongue: Don’t really need items either other than maybe a healing pot at the beginning if I set off too many eggs before charging up my health boosters lol.

I’m sure this could work with just four stars too like c kashrek and boril and mack. Gullinbursti is especially good bc the eggs make him extra angry and he will do the max damage from the team getting hit with egg bombs.

Gonna take some motivation to do easy and normal mode as summons have sucked for me for way too long and I don’t even get excited about an EHT or ETT anymore
