🧪 Early Information on Round 5 of Season 2 Hero Costumes [Part of The Beta Beat v56]

NOTE: Please do not, under any circumstances, share IMAGES OR VIDEOS from Beta in this or any public Forum thread. Violations can cause players to lose their Beta accounts, or threads to be closed down.

This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the new Round 4 of costumes for Season 2 (Atlantis) heroes.

Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

Why are they trying hard to make weak atlantis heroes?

S2 hero costumes are nothing interesting (Maybe just C Ariel great). don’t know why Zynga always spawns S2 hero stepsons!!

Is this a typo or they buff atomos Speed in costume form?

To be fair, there are also other good: C. Poseidon, C. Tarlak and especially C Misandra

Both version are Average. As you can see it on the linket hero card.

There was a balance update which made him Average earlier.

My man, Atomos has been average since may 2020.

Interesting costumes. Is the healing increase buff OP that they’re actively avoiding to add new heroes/costumes with it?

cGill-Ra being slow mana means the attack and defense buffs would need a great increase to make her worth using more. +34% attack & defense or something higher. cGobbler being a minion stealer is neat, especially with sand damage on the enemies. cProteus debuffs all like cHel with a big mana generation decrease. Kinda think they should add an extra condition where it’s uncleansable on holy enemies. Feeling evil. :smiling_imp:

Want for the art. Don’t care what it does.

I was excited to hear that Proteus would get a costume; but I still prefer base Proteus’ special. Would only use for costume bonus

On the plus side, I no longer feel a burning need to pull the costume!

Prediction: Gobbler will be holding up a championship belt instead :stuck_out_tongue:

Too lazy to photoshop, but just imagine

Oh, I’m imagining. That’s why I want it. I think it will be hilarious!

Instead of the axe there are weights in his two hands.
And he has championship belt too

Not impressed by any of them. In some cases, the original version seems even better

My bad. I always thought he was slow.

Uninspired and lazy, and yet more dreadful costumes. $G are seriously out of ideas

I want that stats boost for my Proteus, same for people with a Gobbler, I guess… Triton will actually become a useful hero, so I am also putting that one on my wishlist. The rest I will have forgotten about by tomorrow…

Nice stat bonus cards, all of them.
