Kind of a joke, totally rubbish, period.

I just summoned Triton + costume today. My initial thought is go base form with costume bonus. Too bad because I really like the costume art.

I just have so many A boosters in various colors including Kiril and Grimm in blue alone. Also, Athenaā€™s EL. Heal boost of base form should have some use.

Being the exclusive hero in the game still that increases healing received (and presumably boosted health), the choice to just make him another boring ā€œattack+ā€ buffer instead of keeping the increased healing gimmick suggests that they perceive the healing increase buff itself to be overpowered since his release.

Butā€¦ itā€™s not? Unless itā€™s making health boosters/overhealers somehow overpowered by making 400/600 to 670/1320? Itā€™s actually quite the buff, and tbh, the buff was nice if not for his weak defense on base. It even made some of the healers, like Boldtusk, heal the same amount as Rigard and Vivica.

Overall, it kinda makes him only ā€œgoodā€ as another sniper with the costume. Thereā€™s better attack buffers. (i.e. Boldtusk, cRigard, maybe most Legendary heroes that do more than +30%.)

yeah, I just pulled him today too. Still find the originalā€™s heal boost to be unique and niche, while the costumeā€™s attack buff is just meh.

Iā€™ll level the costume, for the stat boost of the base form.

Did some pulls and got his costume. I have him maxed without emblems and wonā€™t update his costume, because I have better rangers (Tahir).

Will feed the second copy because I have a couple of 5* ice heroes waiting (Camilla, Suzuna, Crystalis and Alexandrine) and Iā€™m currently working on Adalinda . Even Sanngrior(4*) and my second Dawn (3*) will be upgraded before Triton C.:sweat_smile:

I got mine to +20 and did the LB1 levels this weekend:

Similar to base form, my hope is the LB1 levels make him more durable to play in my raids. I blew off the costume at first TBH, but itā€™s been good in PvE. As some comparables on my roster:

  • Same boost as Kiril, but 1 turn longer and at fast mana versus average.

  • Same duration and speed as Zim, but the boost is bigger. His initial damage is probably higher than Zim too

The costume will likely never see LB2, but itā€™s fun to play with. It gets old using the same teams forever. I like the art too.
