Welcome to the December 2022 Balance Update!
We’re happy to report that the slight bumps given to the Styx Family in the November 2022 Balance Update did not cause any unhealthy meta shifts while helping them see a bit more playtime.
This month, we’ll be trimming down the power of a few slightly overpowered Heroes that have been handily resisting even our top players’ attempts at counterplay. As was the case with our adjustments to the Kingdom Family back in September, we are fairly certain that these Heroes will still be very strong even after this update. These changes are not aimed to kneecap any of these Heroes; we just want to bring them more in line with the other top Heroes in the game.
Morlovia Family Bonus
- Mana generation for 1/2/3 Heroes: 3%/6%/12% → 3%/6%/9%
Steal Buff (Passive):
- Chance to steal: 100% → 50%
Miriam & Midnight
- Health boost: 672 over 4 turns → 504 over 3 turns
- Attack buff duration: 4 turns → 3 turns
Matilda
- Muffin Fiend’s chance to refresh ailment duration: 50% → 25%
Costume Guardian Panther
- Defense against Dark debuff: -64% → -54%
