New Ninja Tower hero is released: Sapphire

special-boost Special Boost At the start of each turn, this Hero’s Special Skill deals an additional +30% damage for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.

    • Special Skill has a different effect when charged with 100% / 200% / 300% mana:

    • 1x Mana Charge:
      • Deals 225% damage to the target.
      • This attack has a 35% chance to bypass defensive buffs. This includes counterattacks.

    • 2x Mana Charge:
      • Deals 250% damage to the target and nearby enemies.
      • This attack has a 60% chance to bypass defensive buffs. This includes counterattacks.

    • 3x Mana Charge:
      • Deals 290% damage to all enemies.
      • This attack has a 85% chance to bypass defensive buffs. This includes counterattacks.

Ninja Heroes have a family bonus for unique heroes of the same family.

Ninja Family
Bonus for 1 / 2 / 3 Heroes:

  • 5% / 10% / 15% chance to dodge normal attacks and Special Skills
  • 5% / 10% / 15% chance to counterattack with 60% / 90% / 120% of the damage received

The two effects have individual sequential processing. So one may not trigger while the other might.

It’s important to remember that Challenge Event Heroes have EXTREMELY low summoning odds. No amount of summoning will guarantee a Challenge Event Hero.

On average, in a 10-pull, you have a 17.5% chance of summoning Sapphire.

But that statistic can lead our minds astray in exactly how our odds play out as we continue summoning.

Some useful insights:

  • 69 times out of 100, you’ll get Sapphire by pull 20 (5,200 gems)
  • 95 times out of 100, you’ll get Sapphire by pull 156 (46,800 gems)
  • 99 times out of 100, you’ll get Sapphire by pull 240 (62,400 gems)

Putting that in Perspective

  • 31 out of every 100 people won’t get Sapphire by the 20th pull
  • If 1 Million players each summoned :two::zero: times, 309,196 of those players wouldn’t get Sapphire
  • 5 out of every 100 people won’t get Sapphire by the 156th pull
  • If 1 Million players each summoned :one::five::zero: times, 56,280 of those players wouldn’t get Sapphire
  • 1 out of every 100 people won’t get Sapphire by the 240th pull
  • If 1 Million players each summoned :two::four::zero: times, 10,013 of those players wouldn’t get Sapphire

Just pulled Sapphire and thought I’d come and see what the consensus was on her. Turns out, she doesn’t seem to garner strong opinions; whilst the polls are broadly positive, they’ve only had 20 odd votes and no-one has a strong enough opinion to post anything in 9 months lol.

Well I’m pleased with the pull, she looks good for my roster and I’m looking for a new rogue to emblem, and eventually I can use her on a team with Ametrine for the family bonus.

Got her the first NT, still only tower hero of any description I’ve got.

I use her in 4* tournies. Less in war as I don’t have enough mana troops for a blue stack but I enjoy her

Thanks, Did you emblem the attack path?

I think 4* Tournaments and events is where she’ll get most use for me too, though might get onto my war teams from time to time (and definitely in the 3 Kingdoms)

Yeah, all attack. Decided she’d be squishy either way so might as well maximise her hit and hope for rogue evades. I like to use her with CKiril and Mist.

I don’t use him anymore.

I even reset the emblems to give them to Felton et Alessia (3*) :rofl:

Unless you use him a lot, do not consider LB, no :slight_smile:

I just got him, looks ok with 3rd charge, but I’m quite surprised with the votes.

once again, I would ascend him for the ninja tower event, but wouldn’t spend the aethers.

Sapphire is great, she’s worth at least 1lb, she can save battles

all heroes can’t be ascended, emblemed nor LB’d :person_shrugging:
