:japanese_castle: Ninja Tower Overview!!

(Note: The old Ninja Tower information is removed from here. See earlier topics for the rules for the old event before the update. You can see the links to them below.)

Gameplay

  • The Ninja Tower Event is now updated which is accessed via the “Quests” page with 25 Normal and 50 Impossible Questlines.
  • The Impossible questline can be started once the Normal is completed.
  • Each stage features 1, 2, 3 or 4 monster waves followed by a boss stage.
  • You CANNOT repeat or replay or rerun a completed stage.
  • Gameplay features a new tile called an “OniCurse” (more on that below).
  • Completing 2 stages gives you a choice of one of three “Blessings” which apply to all heroes in your roster for that specific event.
  • Every 3rd offered Blessing is a Rare Blessing so they are offered after every 6th completed floor on both questlines. See the offered Blessings bellow.
  • Heroes can be used on as many stages as you like, as long as they don’t get “cursed out”. Read on that in the “Oni Curses” section below.
  • The higher you go up the tower, the more difficult it becomes.
    • Gameplay becomes harder
    • Oni-Curses appear more frequently
    • Different Mob & Boss configurations
    • Appearance of “Deadly Chamber” effects (more below)
  • After completing every 5th floor you can open a Tower chest on Normal questline:
    • Each Tower Chest features a mixture of Fixed Loot (Emblems & Coins) and Random Loot (Crafting/ Ascension Materials & Battle Items).
  • The Blessing and Curses are staying with you after completing the Normal Questline. So you will have the same blessings and cursed heroes, when you start the Impossible Questline.

:zap: Flags/ Energy!!

  • Ninja Tower uses its own Flag Energy Currency. Separate from World Energy etc…
  • You have a limit of 10 flags
  • Flags are regenerated once per day & completely refills your flags
  • There is also a new “flask” which has been added called the “Small Tower Energy Flask”, which refills 5 energy.

:japanese_goblin: Oni Curses

  • Oni Curses are a new tile that randomly appears on the Board.
  • On appearance, the Oni Curse is allocated to one of your 5 heroes
  • You then have 3 turns to remove the curse. If you fail, that hero recieves 1x curse.
  • Heroes who are cursed 2 times throughout the event are no longer usable in the event (still able to be used elsewhere).
  • The Hero and its costume version counts as a different hero so if one the custome is cursed out. The other version might be still usable. You will see a similar message like the class quests (Other costume allowed) when the other costume is still usable.
  • If both versions are cursed, then you will see the “Hero is cursed” text for that hero.
  • If you FLEE with an Oni Curse (either with the countdown still on it or timed out) on a hero, it sticks (i.e. that hero is cursed).

:angel: Oni Blessings

  • Rewarded on completing every third stage
  • Blessings are fixed & are the same for everyone (i.e. player A gets x,y&z blessing at stage 3. So does player B, Player C etc…)
  • Blessings apply to ALL heroes in your roster for that specific event.
    • They do NOT apply outside the Ninja Event

:skull_and_crossbones: Deadly Chamber Effects.

  • There are three Deadly Chamber Effects in the Ninja Tower:
    • Toxic Vapour - All heroes take ‘x’ damage every ‘y’ turns
    • Fragile Floor - The number of battle items you take are reduced by ‘x’. Cannot be less than 1
    • Erratic Time - All Status Effect Durations are reduced by ‘x’ turns.
  • Table below has more details of the deadly chamber effects & how they increase in severity though the Tower Event.

On Impossible Questline a new kind of Deadly Chamber Effect is included called Unnerving Resilience, which consist of 4 type of sub-effects, which are added during your progress on Impossible Questline:

  • Strong Mind:
    • All bosses have a 33% chance to resist status ailments that affect mana or prevent use of Special Skill.
  • Elemental Resistance:
    • Having multiple Heroes of the same element in your Team reduces the damage that enemies take from that element (-10% for each Hero of the same element).
  • Unwavering Defense
    • Status ailments that reduce defense are -50% less effective against all enemies.
  • Absolute Resolve
    • Enemy damage taken is reduced every time you use a Special Skill or a Battle Item. The damage taken reduction resets at the start of your turn.

The Strong Mind and Unwavering Defense are added starting from Floor 1.
The Elemental Resistance is added starting from Floor 16.
The Absolute Resolve is added starting from Floor 31.

Blessing information

The Blessing are offered after every second stage.
Every third Blessing is a rare blessing.
You can collect a Normal blessing 4 times during you progress in the Tower,
while you can choose the same Rare blessing only twice.

So the offered blessings are changing based on your selection.

Here are blessing what I have seen during my progress:

:rotating_light: Progression Reward – Tower Chest

A “Tower Chest” is awarded every 5 levels completed. It also creates a “Completion” reward of sorts where the 5th and Final Tower Chest will only be available on completing all 25levels of Normal Questline.
There are no Tower chest on the Impossible Questline.

A new coin currancy added to the game. Used exclusively to summon in the Tower Summons (Ninja Tower and Tower of Magic).

Thus far the Tower Coins can only be gained from the Tower Events as either progress rewards, stage rewards or final placement rewards. Oh and offers too…

Woop nice Got about 18 tokens left spreading it out just need a blue ninja to complete.
But need more yellow and blue 4* also a red mana would be great…

July 2021 goal: top 1K
Ideal: top 500
Unachievable yet I think about it: top 100

I’ve improved my Ninja Tower scores and ranks each month. Last month I finished at 283 and the rewards for top 500 are great!

I’m trying something different this time. Normally I use 3s and 4s for the first 20 stages. I know curses don’t really show up in the early levels, so I went with no healer, top hitter teams for the first ten stages. Curses did cause an early scare and I had to carpet bomb my way out.

Whether by luck or this new strategy I have better scores than last time!

Summons on the other hand did not go too well. I had 34 ETT which got me 32 rare troops. I did get a Holy Ninja which gives me 5 Epic Holy troops finally. Still only have one Holy which holds me back :(.

I’m saving all of my Tower Coins assuming Magic Tower will use the same.

I am doing the same. If later SG decides to introduce another coin for that event, then I can still use them here… So there is nothing to lose…

15 troop pulls

1 green ninja (first)
1 purple ninja (third :roll_eyes:)
1 red mana (fourth, happy about it)

I still have only one yellow 4* troops and I’m missing red and yellow ninja

39 troop pulls if I remember correctly. Had my most favorable haul so far. Sixth(!) blue ninja, second and third purple ninja and first and second yellow ninja. Still missing a green ninja troop. Also still waiting for that fifth purple mana troop.

Used 27 ETT, got 4 ninja troops: 2x Red (now I have 4), 1x Purple (third) and 1x Blue (first).

4 pulls for heroes. Got Sapphire… which is the only ninja 4* I already have.

This game needs a method for swapping a duplicate from an event card for another event card of same or lower star level. Having 2 Sapphire doesn’t do much for me.

so had 25 ETTs saved up, got 4 4* troops.:

red mana (yay!), blue mana (double yay!), purple crit (first, good), green ninja (second, good for titans i suppose).

much better than the last two ninja towers where i used 46 tokens and got a total of 2 4s.

The tower rewars are simply a joke… Floors 1-9 are easy to complete with 3* (with emblems / costumes / both).

Starting with floor 10, the “fun” begins.

I may be doing up to 20-25 floors but other than that, no, thank you. Too many battle items needed if you want to complete the tower.

And…what for?! For 1* crafting item?

There are emblems and coins if you scroll. Also those exist throughout each level. And as you said it’s easy to do with threes. So no cost and free tiny rewards. Seems like something we can either be happy to skip or happy to participate in.

Exactly my point. Play it until then fun ends and then simply forget about it.

Maybe I can do 10 more floors and then I’ll be back to finish S4 hard stages left. :smiley:

I’m scoring higher than I ever have before. Any particular reason you think it’s harder?

Before I reached level 10 with heroes of three stars without difficulty, and this time I had to use those of four already from level 7, and in several I have used forge because with those of three they killed me

Usual 3* crap at the summon, 32 troop summons, no ninja troop or 4*. Played the first level of this joke, thanks for the emblems :fu:
