 Damage Reduction At the start of each battle, all damage received by this hero is reduced by 10% for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.

Enemy Minons inherit 50% less Health when summoned.
:hourglass: Ability: Resist Defense Ailments
This character has innate resistance against status ailments that affect defense. Applies also to status ailments that affect elemental defense.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Night Falls
  • Special Skill has a different effect when charged with 100% / 200% / 300% mana:
    • 1x Mana Charge:
      • Deals 220% damage to all enemies.
      • All allies get +30% attack for 3 turns.
    • 2x Mana Charge:
      • Deals 360% damage to all enemies.
      • All enemies get -34% defense for 3 turns.
    • 3x Mana Charge:
      • Deals 395% damage to all enemies.
      • All allies get +50% attack for 4 turns.
      • All enemies get -44% defense for 4 turns.

Note on Styx Mana speed:

  • Exactly 6 tiles are needed to charge to 100%
  • Exactly 3 more tiles so 9 in total are needed to charge to 200%
  • Exactly 3 more tiles so 12 in total are needed to charge to 300%

Bonus for 1 / 2 / 3 Heroes:

  • 40% / 60% / 80% chance to cast -30% mana generation to all enemies for 2 turns when this hero casts their Special Skill.

I can see that the two new heros are going to be broken in VF war because the normal trick of mana block are very likely to backfire… Imagine you used Miki on those heros and with a 40%/60% chance, your entited team got muted for 6 turns…(except Miki)

Is Miki’s mana-block counted as a buff that affects defense?
The card looks to me like only defense-down buffs are potentially cast back.

Why do you expect her to cast back all negative effects? On the card it says that defense down may be reflected back.

Absolutley not if tjat were the case Zhang fei would repel mana block back … mana blck has nothing to do with defence

I erred. It was a mistake in reading the card. I have been diagnosed with permanent, incurable case of being human which comes with the ability to make endless mistakes :slight_smile:

Would you use Nyx on defence?

No, I almost never use the heroes with different charge levels on defense as they fire immediately when at low health which often makes them easier to kill.

I’ve had Killhare at 3/70 for a year and a half now; guess she’ll have wait longer because my Tabards are going to Mother Night.

I wouldn’t run her on defense because to get her to 300% would require 18 tiles and whatever the corresponding defensive value of that would be. I see your point… But she is a bad fit on vf def.

I got her about an hour ago the unlike many of my pulls where i eventually grow to like/love the hero… This is love at first sight.

I have senan on the cusp of going to 4.1… But it would be more interesting story if i didn’t have 21 tabbards…

Though… I am changing my tc20s to tc2s… I’ll trade in February for a decent 5* in the soul exchange rather than in November… I don’t want nyx on a slow back burner…
