attack-up Attack Up At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +20% attack for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:hourglass: Ability: Resist Defense Ailments
This character has innate resistance against status ailments that affect defense. Applies also to status ailments that affect elemental defense.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Ferry From the Beyond
  • Special Skill has a different effect when charged with 100% / 200% / 300% mana:

  • 1x Mana Charge:
    • Boosts health of all allies by 450. Boosted health can exceed max HP.
  • 2x Mana Charge:
    • Each fallen ally has 50% chance to get revived with 10% HP.
    • All allies regenerate 609 HP over 3 turns.
  • 3x Mana Charge:
    • Boosts health of all allies by 700. Boosted health can exceed max HP.
    • Each fallen ally has 65% chance to get revived with 27% HP.
    • All allies regenerate 952 HP over 4 turns.

Heroes become stronger when teamed with other unique heroes of the same family

Bonus for 1 / 2 / 3 Heroes:

  • 40% / 60% / 80% chance to cast -30% mana generation to all enemies for 2 turns when this hero casts their Special Skill.

  • HP boost at charge 1 is increased to 450 from 350.
  • HP regeneration at charge 2 is increased to 609 from 459.
  • Revive chance at charge 2 to is increased to 50% from 40%
  • HP boost at charge 3 is increased to 700 from 600
  • HP regeneration at charge 3 is increased to 952 from 732
  • Revive chance at charge 3 is increased to 65% from 60%, and revived HP is increased to 27% from 20%.

I don’t understand why the second charge only regenerates, but charge 1 and 3 boost health. Makes no sense at all. I also don’t understand the third charge. Boost health by 600 and then regenerate 732 health… I suppose that’s great, but if you’re already at or over max health the regeneration does nothing unless you are taking damage.

That being said, looks like a strong hero. 5-tile boosted health if you urgently need it. Third charge is ridiculous, but it’s a charge hero so that’s fine and he won’t be OP on defense.

I suppose it’s more of a regen boost for those heroes that get revived

I’d take one and be happy. I need boosted health… But i feel it it’s not especially likely I’ll get him since I’m not pulling until January.

I can see that! Lol. and young rigard is still everywhere so I think he stands the test of time.
Would love him but really not interested in spending tons just to be disappointed with renfeld again.

Finally he arrived!
How about others hunters, anyone chasing him or just being lucky? How is he rated compared to other Styx?
Don’t know if anybody has done any test yet?
I have other ongoing projects so a review would be nice.

Noticed this too. His heal went from 350 to 450, the revive percentages went up, and the HoT also went up. Blatant cash grab. 1% chance, there are what, 5 heroes currently? So you need on average 500 summons to get him. At regular gem prices for single summons (350 gems = $3.50), that’s what, $1750. If just 10% of people are lured by the upgraded card to do summons for him that’s a ton of money for SG. Lame.

Got him on a 10 pull this morning, I was just trying to get some aethers LOL…

Based on the comments so far it sounds like I hit the jackpot, maybe I should go play the lottery. I also grabbed Chomper, Bubbles, Ebba, Hammertusk, and Miriam in 3 ten pulls.

Can’t wait to level Charon though, he’ll probably be in every defense lineup.

Actually, it’s Tetisheri who has the +20% mana boost now, but at Fast speed.

Charon is interesting reviver in that that he’s usually better than other revivers in most situations, but is much worse at VF speed where other revivers are better. 9 tile revive is something only Alberich can potentially achieve and his revive has lower chance anyway. Of course Charon will be also much worse at defense.

Did ~40 pulls so far and no luck, but that’s probably Karma for getting Oceanus in 5 pulls (who’s also great, albeit in different manner, so no complaints).
