Master discussion & information thread for the Superior Talents feature, added to Empires and Puzzles in Version 52.

Superior Talents

When a Season 1 hero or costume receive his/her 20th Talent node, then that hero / costume gets the Superior Talent as extra on no additional cost instead of the regular class specific talents.

Class Image Season 1 Superior Talents
Barbarian image Superior Wound
+50% chance to apply bleeding from any normal attack. This effect deals 60% of the damage done by the normal attack over 5 turns. This effect stacks with similar effects.
If this effect is triggered, this hero get +30% attack for 3 turns.
Cleric image Superior Manashield
+60% chance to resist any negative mana status effects or effects that prevent use of Special Skill.
If this effect is triggered, the negative effects are reflected back to the caster.
Druid image Superior Companion
+20% chance to summon an Enpowered Thorn Minion after receiving any damage. This effect is applied at the end of the turn.

Enpowered Thorn Minion HP: 20%
Fighter image Superior Revive
+35% chance to revive with 1 HP and 50% additional mana after a fatal attack. The revive is applied at the end of the turn.
Monk image Superior Withstand
+50% chance to resist negative status effects.
If this effect is triggered, this hero attacks the caster with 100% damage.
Paladin image Superior Protect
+50% chance to get +25% defense for 2 turns after receiving any damage.
If this effect is triggered, this hero and nearby alliies recover 10% health.
The effects are applied at the end of the turn.
Ranger image Superior Pierce
+60% chance to bypass defensive buffs when attacking. This includes counterattacks.
If this effect is triggered, the enemy receives 168 bleed damage over 3 turns.
Rogue image Superior Evade
+30% chance to dodge direct damage from offensive Special Skills.
If this effect is triggered, this hero and nearby allies get +15% chance to dodge special skills for 3 turns.
Sorcerer image Superior Delay
+60% chance to drop the mana generation of the enemy by -50% for 2 turns after dealing damage. This effect is applied at the end of the turn.
Wizard image Superior Jinx
+50% chance to dispell all active buffs from the target before damage is dealt, and then deal +15% extra damage per each active buff the enemies had. The dispel chance and the extra damage apply to both normal attacks and Special Skills

well well well… at least it will help S1 heroes a bit… especially for those of us with limited rosters that mainly have S1s… some incentive to use more emblems on them! (looks at my 600+ sorcerer emblems)

Is this for all S1 heroes, or only 5* S1 heroes?

It is for every Season 1 hero and costume, including secondary costumes too.

I welcome this change, absolutely. Just a bit afraid of it too, as it makes heroes like C-Kadilen (and other strong costumes) even scarier to face :scream:

Nice… So my Vivica C2 will get +35% chance to revive, with 50% additional mana… This could really become a real game changer if she was already around 50% charged…

S1 heroes will kinda have some love until some whales complain that poor people are having more fun than usual and devs make these super duper talents for all heroes starting with events heroes right after s1

C Kad is now 45% chance to dodge.

If the Superior Talent kicks in : +35% chance of remaining 55% => +19% => adjusted total 64%. :flushed:

I hope my math is wrong. Will wait for someone to correct me. :joy::rofl:

Is there a list anywhere of all S1 heroes?
Just makes it easier to look at if there is a list to see rather than trying to find them in the roster.

Thx. I have added the list of Season 1 heroes by class anyway so that we can review them easily.
My list includes secondary costumes too.

Everyone please let me know if I miss some hero or something is in the wrong class.

These might be missing from table:
Caedmon costume 1 fighter
Gormek costume 1 wizard
Melendor costume 1 wizard

Thx, I have added this, and gone over the list.
There were several missing 3 star costumes, and 1-2 from 4 and 5 star costumes.

I hope the list is final (until new secondary costumes are released)

Thanks for the list! Who are you all excited about?

For me, my ccKhagan, who already has almost 2100 health, will be summoning a 500+ hp minion half the time.
Clerics in general will be great against teams with lots of mana control. I could see bringing a green-holy team with cb Elkanen, C Lianna, Viv and two others against heavy mana ailment teams (maybe Alfrike?)

C Kadilen is a Sorcerer, so her superior talent is +60% chance to drop the mana generation of the enemy by -50% for 2 turns after dealing damage.
