I tested this now with 3 Roxias in friendly battles against a team with 2 clerics (Ariel+20 and C1-Lianna+20) and during 12 instances both were completely unable to resist the damage debuff. C1-Lianna reflected several of the -5% mana generation passives though.

+60% chance to resist any negative mana status effects or effects that prevent use of Special Skill.
If this effect is triggered, the negative effects are reflected back to the caster.

Ariel doesn’t count, because only S1 clerics have Superior Talents at this moment
