Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

Alice getting mana cut is a nice touch, not to mention the additional bonus to her attack down - for that? I can live with -20% to her damage

The Hatter… getting… a minion. That’s it? :face_with_spiral_eyes:

The passive though, the passive is INSANELY good! even at just a 50% chance, and even with the random chance, considering that:

  • Alice = Fast
  • cWR = Fast (and just in SE)
  • cJabber = Fast (and just in SE)

even with Hatter & QoH being Average speed, that’s still decent!

Not to mention, their family bonus is also potentially up to +12% mana Gen ontop of costume bonus, on top of class bonus  I’ve got my pirates… time to round up my wonderland team it seems…!

I feel like Alice should be able to damage 3 instead of just 1. Hatter, I am not sure what they coulda done besides lower the damage and make it equal to 3 instead of minor damage. The minion should add an effect instead of just being a meat shield.

I would’ve done Alice like this.

  • Deals 280% damage to the target and nearby enemies.
  • Reduces the mana of the target and nearby enemies by -15%.
  • The target and nearby enemies gets -34% attack for 3 turns. The duration of the effect is reset if the target is healed. This effect can’t be cleansed.

This woulda made more sense honestly. The damage could honestly be like 300% or something. Cutting mana by 15% made more sense than 25% on 3 cause that woulda been bad, see costume Alasie for example.

As for Hatter, I would’ve done this.

  • Deals 310% damage to the target and nearby enemies.
  • Summons a Playing Card Minion with 20% HP and 20% attack inherited from the caster.
  • Each time a Playing Card Minion hits an enemy, it steals a random dispellable buff from the enemy and gives it to its owner.

A damaging style Diaochan would have been cool to see.

Wishful thinking I know. But this woulda been cooler to see.

Awesome suggestions here! Still keeping the flavour but with enough of a twist to keep it interesting rather than straight up buffs.

Even on Hatter, I would have probably opted for 25% / 25% on the minion (though 20/20 is fine too) and then had the buff transferred to a random ally in a similar fashion to his current kit.

Yeah the Minions could stay possibly 25/25 but not to be overkill, 20/20 seemed fair. They need make these costumes a good update to the original, not just a minor numbers tweak.

At 4/80 Alice and hatter and I’ll have a power of 811 and 809. Other legendaries range from 1000 - 1033. Toon azlar is 1057.

The passive is a nice addition, but those stats are very outdated. I’d level both if I pulled them but only reason to chase is if you already use hatter.

Yeah but the costume bonus they get will push them Near 1200 in power I think. When double limit broken of course.

Was it mentioned that C Jabby is getting the same costume passive?

If the pirates are anything to go by (the passive arrived with C Lady Locke & C Sargasso and was extended to C Finley & C Marie-Therese), and based on this post, any heroes in this family who have a costume will get this passive.

Not the Playing Card Minion. Mad Hatter thinks he’s the King of Hearts now? Lol

That aside, adorable, but happy to see all the Legendaries of Wonderland getting a costume. I kinda hope they keep it going. Captain of Diamonds, Shrubbear, and Phoenias could complete the set.

Suggestions

Awesome! Can’t wait for C Jabby’s passive!

I double limit broke Alice and got her up to 1071

Unless you mean the correct costume bonus

I think there costume bonus is incorrect.
They should have similar bonus like other Legendary CF costumes.

So probably their stat will be increased.

The hatter needs to deal 475% to three and summon a fiend that steals buffs from hit targets and gives them to allies like cardinal Richelieu.

Is this something new and not just stat boost costumes? Like wuut? It’s sad that I’ve come to terms that all costumes over the past year or so would be stat boost costumes, and so is actually a breath of fresh air for once

Was pleasantly surprised to see meaningful costumes. I expected the usual. I may level Hatter if I ever get his costume.
