Frequency of Path of Valor

Path of Valor now is scheduled to start on the 4th Monday of every second month.

The NEXT Path of Valor (#7) tentatively is hypothesised to start: 2021-01-25T08:00:00Z

Previously, it started on the 1st Monday of every second month, changed in This Announcement.

Challenges

Path of Valor has two kinds of Challenges, Daily, and Valor.

Valor Challenges run for the entire 50 days of Path of Valor, and have tiers. As you complete each tier, the next tier unlocks.

Daily Challenges refresh every 24 hours, and don’t have tiers. Once you complete them, they’re done for the day.

I am so torn. I like Path of Valor! But these past days have been so nice - not having to plan my gametime around when Path of Valor resets every day

I have to agree. As much as I like the loot, I’m getting game fatigue. I preferred when there was an extra week between POVs

I have highlighted it with staff that they are skipping over those material groups entirely. Hopefully they’ll look into it… It’s not too late to chuck it into PoV6

So frustrating. I have an abundance of all 4* mats including now 8 tomes but have 0 Damascus. It seems a common complaint among high level players too. I’ve been stuck since the last farholme and was stuck again the one before that.

It’s bad enough they never include Damascus or tomes among top 500 or 1000 rewards for rare and epic events. How are players supposed to progress when they cut us off of arguably the 2 most desirable materials?

I’m just happy to see the challenges are easy this time. We didn’t get much of a break and most these should be easy to achieve through normal play.

I think Zynga has a lot of business performance KPIs to manage towards year end so they shorten the PoV break from 2 weeks to 1 week and also make it super easy so more ppl can finish and hopefully pay for the VIP awards lol.
