 Additional Levelling Costs

  • Basically, the limit breaker just UNLOCKS the additional +5 levels.
  • You then need to level the hero up like normal by feeding trainers/ feeder heroes to them…
  • Unlike normal levelling, to go from one level to the next, there is a cost in both food and exp (like normal) AND iron + ascension materials.*

Click for full break-down Food, Iron, Ascension Material & Exp Required for Advanced Levelling!

Ascension Material Costs

Note: These only apply when you go from {x} level to {y} level.
Note 2: These costs are the same for the normal hero as for a costume.

:mechanical_arm: Example Stat Boosts

You get an initial boost to the heroes base stats when you apply the limit breaker. Then there are additional stat boosts for every “Advanced Level” you progress.

The degree of this stat boost depends on the rarity of the hero. The listed stat boost (below) applies to all three base stats (Attack, Def & HP).

Rarity Limit Break Boost Advanced Levels
(Per level)
Rare (3*) 5.0% 1.54%
Epic (4*) 3.2% 1.03%
Legendary (5*) 2.9% 0.92%

So by the end of it all, you get the following boost to max stats:

  • Rare = 113.34% boosted stats
  • Epic = 108.63%
  • Legendary = 107.61%

Just FYI, green reflect means it reflects dispels too! So don’t even try Melendor or Fogg, they’ll just smack themselves silly. (however you can use dispellers in other colors)

Since everybody resists ailments, I found Gazelle to be invaluable for this quest, as she supercharges tile damage, and even with a green 3-stack most mobs would go down in a single match-3. Overhealing is also critical so either bring Garnet or Gullinbursti as the boosted HP adds a lot of extra survivability.

Note: Increased feeder XP for costumes still apply after being limit broken. It appears you need a farmable 3* item (in this case a battle manual) for each LB level you go up.

If you choose to use the Limit Breaker on a hero. Is it for good or will we have a way to reset it and use it on a different hero?

Thx, I have included this in the OP.
I have also added the graphics what are linked by @Guvnor to OP too.

No, they are like ascension materials. Once you have used them, then they are gone, and there is no way to reset them.

So, now that tournaments are more important than ever seems like it could be time for SGG to fix the “0 attacks problem” that exist since tournaments were launched.

Yes, without the tournament (and war) loot (and bought offers) you will able to limit break the first set of rainbow team by March 2022.

The ratio of top 1% and top 5% is similiar to quest:

5* Ă· 4* Ă· 3*

1 Ă· 6 Ă· 13

Does the staff realize that this will lead to shortage of 3* aether and abundance of 4* aether?

I doubt it, that would mean they actually thought about the new feature they are adding as apose to just trying to grab cash as quickly as possible.

That is correct.

As affirmed above, they are indeed scheming and planning… to get a bunch of cash from the players. Wanna bet that we will be seeing gem offers soon with Aethers in it? We saw that on emblems. We saw that on ascension mats. They’ll mask it as if it has limited sources at the onset, i.e. quests, tourneys, wars, etc. Don’t be surprised when it starts pestering our screen with offers. I wonder if they will be using Magpies this time as with emblems. Seagulls??

Wasn’t there more than a month delay between emblem intro and first emblem offer?

I can’t remember whether the Magpie offer came first or those sold from the in-game Shop, which exchange involve gems. On the Magpie offers, emblems were exchange for real life currencies.

Just completed the quests.

Still can not upgrade a blue 5 star.

Could upgrade a blue 4 star but in case I get the big aether, I have shortage of medium aethers and it will block my 5 star ascension in future.

Could upgrade a blue 3 star but who cares about these… you’d either have to go all in aiming for rare raid tournaments or event challenges or don’t start at all. For me personally that’s just another maxed hero staring at me that I don’t ever use.

Result: can’t even use rewards from this quest. But thanks for taking 60 WE. I hope it really isn’t once per month - if we’re to have the limit breakers regardless of the issues they’ll bring for players, at least I want to get over with it asap.

You got a discount? You lucky bastard. :joy:
They took 70 WE from me.

Shop come first at 18 February 2019, Emblem intro at 14 January 2019. So it is a little after a month. Magpie was late 2019.

Yea, could be 70! One quest taking over 50 at once is ridiculous enough for me to stop paying attention to the maths!

So what is going to be this event’s frequency? Once a month?
