heal-increase Heal Increase At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +50% increase for any healing received for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Boon of Gjallarhorn
  • Boosts health of all allies by 500. If health exceeds max HP, it is added as temporary HP. Max temporary HP is 100% of max HP. Boosted health counters max HP reduction.
  • Each fallen ally has a 20% chance to get revived with 30% HP.
  • All allies get +30% attack for 4 turns.

Below odds are current as of June 30, 2020. Odds will change as additional S3 5* heroes are added to the “non-featured” hero pool.

It’s important to remember that Season 3 Valhalla Heroes have EXTREMELY low summoning odds. No amount of summoning will guarantee a Season 3 Hero.

On average, in a 10-pull, you have a 1.43% chance of summoning Heimdall.

But that statistic can lead our minds astray in exactly how our odds play out as we continue summoning.

Some useful insights:

  • 13 times out of 100, you’ll get Heimdall by pull 100
  • 51 times out of 100, you’ll get Heimdall by pull 500
  • 76 times out of 100, you’ll get Heimdall by pull 1500
  • 89 times out of 100, you’ll get Heimdall by pull 1500
  • 95 times out of 100, you’ll get Heimdall by pull 2073
  • 99 times out of 100, you’ll get Heimdall by pull 3186

Putting that in Perspective

  • 87 out of every 100 people won’t get Heimdall by the 100th pull

  • If 1 Million players each summoned 100 times, 870,000 of those players wouldn’t get Heimdall

  • 5 out of every 100 people won’t get Heimdall by the 2073rd pull

  • If 1 Million players each summoned 2073 times, 50,000 of those players wouldn’t get Heimdall

He’s kind of a beefed up Boldtusk mixed with Alberich. I think very worthwhile.

He is IMHO ideal on defense because his heal has one major advantage - it cannot be wasted, so it does not matter when he fires it when he is AI-controlled. So basically he is an ideal tank when his stats are considered.

Hoping for him, after one year of this game I still don’t have any S2 (though I got 2 HoTMs from Atlantis portal) so hopefully I’ll get luckier with S3.

Do you know if the extra HP he gives is considered a buff, which can be dispelled or removed? :slight_smile:

No, it’s not considered a status effect at all, and can’t be dispelled or removed. Nor can max health reductions be cleansed or removed.

If I remember correctly HP boost can only be removed by HP cut which is only with certain other Season 3 heroes not released yet…

Heimdall is going to be a terror in Field Aid wars.

Hoping this guy comes my way, I can’t field anyone remotely like him and have all the requisite mats waiting.

if i was a big spender I’d build a dream team of Alberich / Tyr / Heimdall / Tyr / Alberich for field aid.

I received… Heimdall! 4th pull today (After many pulls the last two days, I have all 5 3* s plus duplicates. I also rec’d Stonecleave and Sumle). No Telluria though. :slightly_frowning_face:

Heimdall looks like a wonderful addition to my roster. :relaxed: Should I prioritize him over Lianna? :thinking: In the above videos he doesn’t seem a likely candidate for tank. [EDIT] Being slow he cant get his special off. Would you put him at wing or flank? Appeared to perform well at wing.

And could anybody show more vids of Heimdall in action? I’d love to see him in [EDIT] offense.

Also, is he better or worse than Rigard and Vivica?
