attack-up Attack Up At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +20% attack for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Deteriorating Morale
  • Deals 500% damage to the target and minor damage to nearby enemies.
  • The target and nearby enemies get -48% attack for 3 turns. If the effect is removed before the duration ends, the target with the effect suffers 502 damage.

Journey Family:

Heroes become stronger when teamed with other unique Heroes of the same family.

Bonus for 1 / 2 / 3 Heroes:
50% / 75% / 100% chance to increase the duration of each status effect that is cast by the hero by 1 / 2 / 3 turns.

Morale Boost

Heroes belonging to this family as well as Heroes fighting alongside them receive the following perks in War of the Three Kingdoms:

  • +10% attack, +3% defense, +7% health

牛魔王 is the bull demon king, one of the antagonists of sun wukong
猪八戒 is pigsy, one of the travelling companions of sun wukong
And then 二郎神, which is this guy is also one of the antagonist of sun wukong. Which is btw very random to begin with as in why this guy?

It’s obvious that Zynga/SGG wasn’t focusing on or expecting much from the Asian market when they launched this game. If they did, they would have planned ahead.

I think someone even said the hero card for Erlang Shen don’t even look like him in JTTW

I did comment that the hero card did not depict him accurately with regard to religious/traditional/conventional images: missing his Third Eye.

If he’s supposed to be part of W3K, his W3K name is different. And he looks fully mortal.

If he’s supposed to be a Journey hero, then he’s a deity and he should have his Third Eye.

There’s no in-between usually but what do Zynga/SGG care?! They only want money, and more of it.

He has to change his name, like Max, formerly known as Toto. But then he has his own family bonus…this could no longer be called WO3K, but Chinese clash I guess. As in the clash of all Chinese literature into one great war
Wukong may have to change his name after 5 years. Because ain’t no way one of the strongest gods in JTTW is reduced to become a 4* gamble hero

But he is really good if you have g cham. Fire him before cham and then cham can finally damage enemies with his skill
