Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

Greel will be the new pain with treevil in rush turnaments.

I’m not a fan of Dabria. I didn’t like the idea to have reviver in all elements. Find it more interesting when it was limited to green. And now we have revive at average. Holy s…

How does sorrow work? He summons 6 minions 2 to him and 2 for each of his nearbys? And for each destroyed minion you get 200% damage, so 1200% in total :face_with_monocle: That can’t be true. Or is it the 200% of the attack of the minions (40%). But even than it’s 560% in total. Way too much.

 @ Numbskull

Also, wonder if M&M owners will feel slight sorrow now? I mean 200% damage to all enemies when the minion is destroyed yeesh. She fires and you’ll really feel sorry!! :grimacing:

(Unless by destroyed it means by specials, and not getting killed by tiles)

based on what i ready for Sorrow, it’s designed to counter minion destroyers. Although 200% for each minion destroyed could pose a problem. And if its 6 summoned, your opponent would have to reconsider using minion destroyers. summoning 2 minions for self and nearby allies, is too much. if someone like Alucard destroys them, and if its all 6, the entire team takes 1200% damage, potentially ending the match right there. I would nerf that skill so its one minion for self and nearby, or deal 100% damage rather than 200%

Agree this new heroes are ridiculous strong, and for those that were crying for nerf on heroes that we already have now I want to see their complain. we know that even more powerful heroes will be showing up

for the minions dealing 200% damage. Is Vela and Devana immune to that damage?

Poor Numbskull… this is an even more unfortunate name than Waterpipe has :joy:

Does this mean that minion removers are now No Go against Sorrow and the 4* Green ? And that’s it’s better to just block minions ?

Like, what, was Hopeless Doofus already taken? And Staintongue? Are they just randomly shoving words together now to keep up with the rate of hero release?

Gefjon and Cupcake are gonna get more love now that Sorrow is coming out.

The damage % from the destroyed minions on which attack is based? The hero’s or the minion’s?
If it’s the hero’s attack, they’ve gone even more nuts than someone could think. Either you have an army of Gefjons or the best luck possible with your starting board

As will Bera and Erebus for that matter. No problem with minions when minions can’t be summoned.

Based on plain reading of the last line:

I’m now of the opinion it’s actually from the minion. If so, then 200% of 40% is 80%, or slightly less than one slash attack. So if all minions are destroyed instantly, that’s 6x 80% atk to all, or basically a bit less than 5 slash attacks to the whole team.

Certainly significant, but definitely no longer the instant death situation I was initially envisioning. So in this case bring an overhealer, and Ogima can still work his magic.

It’s about time these minion killers get a check. They have run rent free in the minion killing business for so long, especially grimble. It will be funny to see ogima or grimble nuke their entire team themselves

Staintongue is just a potty mouth

@PlayForFun , will Taunt protect the team from mass-damage when Sickle minion is destroyed?

Most likely not, but I will look at this and get back to you.

Sigh….even more ridiculously OP heroes. I give the game 6 months before it’s dead

with those heroes, musqueters and new ninjas, empires officially has less quality than its own copy, mythwars.

Now I can confirm. It bypasses Taunt.
