Image Aether Power Description
defense-up Defense Up At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +20% defense for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:hourglass: Ability: Damage Over Time on Special
When this character casts their Special Skill, they give a Hunter’s Mark on a random enemy. The target receives 150 damage over 3 turns. If a target already has this effect, the duration will be refreshed and the damage will be increased with 150, up to 1500 damage in total.
:hourglass: Ability: Hunter’s Sense
When this character casts their Special Skill, they have 100% chance to transfer the newest status ailment from themself to the target. If the Special Skill cannot target an enemy, a random enemy is chosen instead. If this character has no status ailments, they recover 5% health.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Mallett Swing of the Beast
  • Deals 330% damage to the target and nearby enemies.
  • The target and nearby enemies get -30% accuracy for 3 turns. The accuracy decreases by -10% each turn, up to -50%.
  • The target and nearby enemies receive 363 Poision damage over 3 turns.

Abyss Hunter Family
Bonus for 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 Heroes:

+5% / +10% / +15% / +20% defense,

Monster Island Bonus
Heroes belonging to the Plains Hunter and Abyss Hunter family receive the following perks on Monster Island:

  • +20% attack, +20% defense, +20% health
  • 50% less permanent damage taken.
  • Stack (Max 10): When this character casts their Special Skill, all enemies get -3% defense

  • Damage is increased to 330% from 300%.

Another hit-3 hero ? The greens are swamped with these kind of heroes.

Not good on defence unless he issues minions 5x. Those minion snips will quickly increase the blind.

As it is, attack is a better option for him.

He got stealth buffed with poison DOT now and increase damage to 330% @PlayForFun

Picked him up today while I was levelling this months HotM. Glad I still got the tonics to switch to Stainedtongue.

I don’t know why but I never imagined a character with the name staintongue to be this. He needs to be more repulsive.

Love this
 lizard fella. Pairs extremely well in a green stack with any other hit-3 heroes (given my roster I use Hammertusk+Guan Yu, the damage output is insane)

And that blind has saved me a few times in a bind or when the board dried up

Nice hero. A better version of VÀinÀmöinen.

Already fought him maxed and that poison makes a hell lot of difference. If you can’t get rid of it it will grind you down fast.

Otherwise I like his design. Though by name I would expect something like Iku-Turso and not handsome wolf.

Lucky pull from coins gifted by an alliance member (I had 95
and got 10 as a gift)

Then it struck me
 Staintongue gives poison damage to 3. Viselus also gives poison damage to 3
and with his passive, heals self and nearby
 So using both in a stack, could put poison damage on 5 enemies
and so heal 3 heroes for 10% per turn. Just a tiny bit of synergy there
No wonder they showed up as a pair :laughing:

I mean he doesn’t even show his tongue, so how do we know if it’s stained or not? (or if he even has a tongue :rofl:)

Ah no wonder I felt this artwork didn’t hit the mark, the tongue wasn’t the prominent feature. It should have like Venom tongue. Or a more disgusting looking tongue
