🧪 Early Information on New Jungle Hunter Heroes [Part of The Beta Beat v55]

This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the initial release of the Jungle Hunter Heroes.


Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.


:tophat: Jungle Hunter Heroes

There are a total of two (2) new heroes added to Beta for testing.

The names of the new heroes are:

  • Legendary: Bonecrusher, Mistweaver

Heroes become stronger, when teamed with other unique Heroes of the same family:

Jungle Hunter Family
Bonus for 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 Heroes:

+5% / +10% / +15% / +20% HP,

Monster Island Bonus
Heroes belonging to the Plains Hunter and Abyss Hunter family receive the following perks on Monster Island:

  • +20% attack, +20% defense, +20% health
  • 50% less permanent damage taken.
  • Stack (Max 10): When this character casts their Special Skill, all enemies get -3% defense

Passive: Damage Over Time on Special
When this character casts their Special Skill, they give a Hunter’s Mark on a random enemy. The target receives 150 damage over 3 turns. If a target already has this effect, the duration will be refreshed and the damage will be increased with 150, up to 1500 damage in total.

Passive: Hunter’s Vigor
When this character casts their Special Skill, they get +20% attack for 3 turns. This effect can be active in addition to other effects that alter attack.

Special Skill: Fury of Silverback

  • Deals 350% damage to the target.
  • The damage is increased by 70% per each living ally.
  • Stack (Max 10): The caster gets +10% attack against the weaker element.

Passive: Damage Over Time on Special
When this character casts their Special Skill, they give a Hunter’s Mark on a random enemy. The target receives 150 damage over 3 turns. If a target already has this effect, the duration will be refreshed and the damage will be increased with 150, up to 1500 damage in total.

Passive: Hunter’s Vigor
When this character casts their Special Skill, they get +20% attack for 3 turns. This effect can be active in addition to other effects that alter attack.

Special Skill: Misty Punches

  • Deals 325% damage to target and nearby enemies.
  • The target and nearby enemies resist healing and receive 220 damage per each resisted healing for 3 turns.
  • Stack (Max 10): The caster gets +10% attack against the weaker element.

Does that also include the caster making it 420% dmg when only the caster is alive?

Mistweaver = Block 100% healing ?

Total 630% with 4 living allies ? Or would that become 700%, including Bonecrusher ?

Mistweaver, should be a good hero against T5’s new 5* hero…

Followed by Asterix, Obelix and Panoramix. Oh, you meant different Caesar.

I’m sure Obelix would be a slow blue taunter hero, Asterix a fast red sniper, Paboramix a green average overhealer and attack boost

Caesar would summon legionnaires minions

Obelix would most likely have a special called “Boar Feast” which would grant him Taunt, increased defense, increased defense against special skill and heal.

Asterix would have “Smart Strike”, a red snipe that would grant dodge and increased criticals to all allies.

Panoramix would have, of course “Magic Potion”, overhealing all allies and granting them increased attack that Tarlak/Oceanus has.

Caesar (not the ape) would have “Legions of Rome” with said Legionnaires minions as well as AoE damage to enemies. Or inspiring speech that would also increase attack.

But Caesar, the comic character, works out too.

I am sure that Gaul had forested areas. :laughing:

The Red one is just a Standard Sniper. That’s it. And maybe good for M.Titan.
Prefer this month Hotm rather than him.

If they can add another mechanic like
Additional hit to another Enemies based on each allies who died
630 to one
560 to two
490 to three
420 to four
350 to all
Depends on the Allies who live and die.
(But maybe just 50% increment instead of 70%)

a fast sniper that can hit 700% to start, it is a lot imo
