 Attack Up At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +20% attack for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:no_entry_sign: Resist: Resist Damage from Status Effects
This character has an innate resistance against incoming damage from status effects.
:hourglass: Ability (if costume is available): Bleed on Special Skill
When this character casts their Special Skill, all enemies receive 400 Bleed damage over 4 turns.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Stalling Dispelling Willpower
  • Dispels buffs from all enemies.
  • Deals 180% damage to all enemies.
  • Deals additional 20% damage per removed status effect, up to 340% damage in total.
  • Stack (Max 10): The caster gets +6% mana generation.
  • Stack +2 (Max 10): The caster recovers 30 HP each turn.

The new heroes form the “Slayers” family and have a family bonus for each unique hero in the team:

Slayers Family
Bonus for 1 / 2 / 3 Heroes:

  • 50% / 75% / 100% chance to receive the following stacks at the end of each turn:
  • Stack (Max 10): The caster recovers 15 HP each turn
  • Stack (Max 10): The caster gets +6% mana generation

You do not need to cast the special skill for the family bonus to activate.

It’s important to remember that Challenge Event Heroes have EXTREMELY low summoning odds. No amount of summoning will guarantee a Challenge Event Hero.

On average, in a 10-pull, you have a 1.65% chance of summoning CaitlĂ­n.

But that statistic can lead our minds astray in exactly how our odds play out as we continue summoning.

Some useful insights:

  • 15 times out of 100, you’ll get CaitlĂ­n by pull 100 (26,000 gems)
  • 56 times out of 100, you’ll get CaitlĂ­n by pull 500 (130,000 gems)
  • 95 times out of 100, you’ll get CaitlĂ­n by pull 1,796 (467,200 gems)
  • 99 times out of 100, you’ll get CaitlĂ­n by pull 2,761 (717,900 gems)

Putting that in Perspective

  • 85 out of every 100 people won’t get CaitlĂ­n by the 100th pull

  • If 1 Million players each spent $259.97 (US) to summon :one::zero::zero: times, 846,364 of those players wouldn’t get CaitlĂ­n

  • 5 out of every 100 people won’t get CaitlĂ­n by the 1800th pull

Sadly she is the only one I did not manage to summon! But she sounds awesome to have! Congrats!

I’m curious to see how much she’ll appear in defenses. :smiley:

Balance change since the last Beta:

  • HP regeneration stack is now increased from 10 to 20, and 2 HP regeneration stack are given when you fire the special skill.

I immediately made her 4.80 and tried against Sif back center in a friendly match.
I thought the Slayers family wouldn’t get a lot of stacks with a single hero, but it was horribly easy to reach max stacks.
After that, she recovers 3 digits of HP every turn and fires skill at a fast speed.
Fortunately, her basic attack power is low and her damage ratio is not so high, so I think she is well-balanced in that respect.

Have you taken he for a spin? Whats youre comments on her? Got lucky and just got her also, im in the middle of leveling Aouda right now
 cant decide if i put Aouda on hold or not.

Realy like the mana and heal stacking, time will tell if the Slayers heroes are to change the meta in this game!

I tested her in a high - top diamond arena to fill the raid chest.
I’d give her a B+ or A- rank in offense team. High basic stats, endless self-healing, fast AoE. She never died while filling the chest.
However, her skill is not a large-scale destruction, but a utility skill that erases troublesome buffs and damages them, so she is almost powerless against buff-independent defense teams.

Aouda is useful for any defense team. If you have a team build that can ignore JF, Sif, Garnet, and professor etc buffs, I would definitely choose Aouda.
I can only remove buffs with C.Mel +18 (easy to die), so I maxed Caitlin without hesitation.

I also got the emblems to get Aouda to +20, while Alfie just took all of my wizard emblems.

Is wizard class completely worthless for Caitlin? Since she dispels first before doing damage, does that mean jinx wont activate (unless target has undispellable buffs)?

Or does the game coding first see that the target has buffs, activates jinx, then dispels, and finally does damage with jinx bonus dmg?

I told myself i was going to save all my 110+ coins for pirates or villains but ended up doing some 2am yolo pulls. Got Caitlin and Aodhon in 7 pulls.

I’ve used Caitlin(+15) many times, but never activated Jinx.
Personally, it’s the most mismatched talent, alongside Raffaele and Guin.

I got her on my first pull, really wanted Saoirse to replace Wilbur on my red stack for titans, but family bonus if I can get both of them.

I was about to dart up Devana but going to hold on a bit now

I have no clue,
 I do not have Caitlin and I’m not sure which order does the game coding.
Maybe jinx start record and will add bonus from damage deal after skill completed. So, buff still included.

  1. Jinx activate, record how many buff the target
  2. Special skill dispell, damage, finish
  3. Calculate Jinx damage result

It is hard to track though.

Wizard class is NOT worthless, which immediately makes her the very best wizard in the game along with Cobalt. Not only do your buffs do nothing, they just make her angrier :smiling_imp:

Did you have a hero with a buff that you can’t dispel to your opponent?
Looking at your post, I tried again 3 times in a friendly match (against the Sif, Freya, Garnet, Heimdall, and Cobalt teams), but never the jinx was activated.
It’s weird that the jinx doesn’t work even though they had a total of nearly 30 buffs.
