Or: How many summons are needed to get a Featured Atlantis Hero?

Itā€™s important to remember that Atlantis Featured Heroes have extremely low summoning odds. No amount of summoning will guarantee a Featured Hero.

On average, in a 10-pull, you have a 3.2% chance of summoning a particular Featured Hero.

But that statistic can lead our minds astray in exactly how our odds play out as we continue summoning.

Some useful insights:

  • 28 times out of 100, youā€™ll get a specific Featured Hero by pull 100
  • 95 times out of 100, youā€™ll get a specific Featured Hero by pull 920
  • 99 times out of 100, youā€™ll get a specific Featured Hero by pull 1410

Putting that in Perspective

  • 72 out of every 100 people wonā€™t get a specific Featured Hero by the 100th pull

  • If 1 Million players each summoned 100 times, 720,000 of those players wouldnā€™t get the specific Featured Hero

  • 5 out of every 100 people wonā€™t get the specific Featured Hero by the 920th pull

  • If 1 Million players each summoned 920 times, 50,000 of those players wouldnā€™t get the specific Featured Hero

More Insights & Reading

I highly recommend reading these two threads for more information and context on summoning odds:

If youā€™ve read them a million times before, you may consider reading them again before deciding on your budget for summoning. A little time spent deciding on how much money you want to risk on summoning goes a long way to avoiding disappointment, frustration, and regret later.

Is there a way to see vote results without voting? Because for beginners who have absolutely no idea, maybe they want to see poll results to gauge how desireable a hero is, but then they have to throw in an absolutely random vote just to see the (now skewed) results?

For the summons one yes, tap the ā€œView Resultsā€ button

For all the others, you can always change your vote afterwards (By tapping the ā€œShow Voteā€)

Errr, is this the first ever such thread for Mok-Arr? LOL.

Why make worthless 5* heroes like this clown? Useful for mono purple team onlyā€¦hero is a joke!

Even then he is garbageā€¦if you get enough to charge your mono purple team youā€™d win with ANY purple plugged in. He literally is worthless.

True. I donā€™t think there is anything more infuriating than burning through 100s of summons just to come away with this piece of *^%# lol for all those in my same boatā€¦I feel for ya :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Mok-Arr was designed for yellow titans and taking down yellow heavy defenses or even just yellow tanks which is to say a purple heavy team. Taking that into consideration MokArr then does exactly what he was designed for which does not make him a terrible 5*, just a misunderstood one. If you summon him, level him and find scenarios that maximize his abilities.

The fourth line on the card could be changed from:

" * All Dark allies and enemies are immune to this attack." to
" * All Dark allies and enemies take half damage in this attack."
or even be eliminated entirely

Through all season 2 and huge amount of summons (letā€™s not even talk about it) I am richer with one and only 5* - Mokā€™Arr. There are no words how much I hate him.

lol wow i can feel your pain.

the real question is: did you end up leveling him? lol

Heā€™s my only S2 5* as well. Heā€™s around 2/40 or so, and gets used for farming 8-7. If I ever get to the point of ā€œnothing betterā€, I will probably level him out of principle, but right now, heā€™s a ways down the line of people to level.

I was like you know ā€œheā€™ll be good somewhere!ā€, ā€¦ , no heā€™s notā€¦
Iā€™d give those tabbards to third Sartana anytime now.

He is actually quite good.

He is not the best but if he is what you get I wouldnā€™t be as upset as your are.

He can be used in different aspects of the game. I raided with him in high diamond quite often and was pretty successful. He was never the lone reason I lost a raid. His damage to allies is minimal. Pair him with a def down or att up hero and it is fun.

Is he worth pulling for? No

Most of the opinions above are from players who have never even tried to use him if they have him.

I maxed him before my 1st Sartana and have never regretted that decision.

Even if Iā€™d max him for fun and giggles, heā€™s simply not worth 6 tabards

to each their own but I disagree

The best part of having Mok on my bench is heā€™s making grimble look like a champ. I read somewhere Mok was designed for yellow titansā€¦attack all for yellow titans? Maybe Iā€™m doing the titan thang all wrong
