If you think Abigail is well-balanced, too strong, or too weak — why?
Are there specific, concrete suggestions you’d make to the game designers to alter Abigail ? Or are there specific reasons you think they should remain unchanged?
Purpose of this thread:
To provide an aggregate place for the topic here on the forum; thus preventing there being a million threads popping up. And to provide an actual set of impartial votes rather than a Ideas & Feature Requests which has no real voting.
In short, to neaten the forum and to give players and outlet for their thoughts on his balance without bogging down the rest of the forum or the other Abigail thread.
She’s weirdly underpowered, especially for being so rare. I liked the suggestion to remove the damage and make her a minion hero. * with some other thing and much bigger minions
Pulled her yesterday, at first i was like holy f…k. thats awsome. But after reading into the card and understanding how weak she is. The giid feeling disappeared and sh got put on the bench. Way too little stuff happening compared to rarity.
Her damage output seems more on the level of a fast hero without the fast speed. I noticed she is rarely on another team, that also does not have another insanity producing character like Atwood.
She is more of an offence hero imo. Even if she goes insane and gives the enemies a free minion, this allows you to use your own anti minion heroes to take advantage of this. But this requires a lot of control on your side
I think she needs way stronger minions to start with… or to be fast, not average…
Her damage out put is on par with fast heroes, and Her minions hp as well, but he’s average… they should change Her to fast speed or bump up the damage and minions hp a little bit or just make her minions hp like 30% or something…
I would personal prefer Her minions just to be at 30% and the damage out put the same… So the minions can get. to work while the player lower her Insanity with healing and charges her to strike again.
C2P here. I got her a couple of months ago.
I was so thrilled when I got her, due to how rare she is. So I thought I had gotten a top tier hero.
But while I think she is interesting to field and build a strategy around, besides her high stats, she seems disappointingly weak.
The mid-damage to all heroes is fine but not devastating.
Her minions are interesting with their insanity hits. But at 5 insanity per hit, you only get to Han four 25 insanity per turn, assuming that you have 5 live heroes and the opponent doesn’t have any lunar heroes.
That simply isn’t enough to impact the outcome of a battle. With the speed of the game, you should consider yourself lucky if all 5 minions get to hit twice each. Which would make up aggregated 50 insanity across the opposing team. Distributed across their entire team.
The likelihood of her impacting the outcome of the battle significantly is unfortunately just quite low.
She is not a boss wolf-aweful hero. But I bet most if not all pulling her will be disappointed given her rarity.
How to make her more attractive?
I believe what makes her quite a fun hero to play are the minions and the insanity she deals. So I would buff her minions and/or the insanity they deal, so that her minions are likely to have a potential impact of the battle. Because right now, more likely than not, they are insignificant.
I would strongly urged not to change her to fast speed. All you will end up with is her hitting herself, because if the high self-infliction she does. To play her you already have to pair her with a couple of fast healers who can reduce her insanity. Making her go faster will just make it more difficult to build a strategy around her
