 Defense Up At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +20% defense for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.

All damage is reduced by 5% per 10 Insanity for this character up to a maximum reduction of 50%.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Whispers of Xulu
  • Deals 260% damage to all enemies.
  • Summons a Xulu Minion for each ally with 15% HP and 20% attack inherited from the caster
  • Each hit from a Xulu Minion gives the target the following status ailments:
    • The target receives 324 Bleed damage over 4 turns.
    • Inflicts 5 Insanity to the target
  • Inflicts 55 Insanity to the caster.

  • Self Insanity is increased from 45 to 55.

If it can serve, from beta:

Damage Is reduced from 250% to 230%.
Xulu Minion’s HP reduced from 30% to 10%.
Insanity to the Caster increased from 45 to 55.

I guess this hero is more balanced than Atwood. Seems easy enough to defend against minions giving 5 insanity per hit.

Much more relevant in attack with a taunter than in defense. That insanity will keep stacking and you do not need to fire her again before she is healed a bit

Her special suits more fast speed, it would be great this way. There the glass is half empty.

I don’t think she is ideal… She doesn’t benefit from taunt nullifying insanity. When’s hit a taunt hero for 230% … Big whoop … but she should give minions to the other team and then send insanity to the other team.

I think you can run her with bera… Then she won’t give minions to the other team because beta prevents them… Huh.

Xiaotu should block any insanity going to your crew when fighting against her.

Why so bad? What am I missing? Why does she cast insanity above 50 right at the beginning?
Considering how unpredictable and mediocre insanity has been so far and due to power creep, I predict that Abigail will be worse than the next 2025 red Hero of the month.

She is straight up negated by any of the Lunar Year family characters passives. (If you are not familiar with that family since they seem to have forgotten about them, look up Qinglong or Xiaotu as an example)
So at first I thought that damage reduction passive would be great for defense, until I remembered about the lunar families. I guess meh for defense.
Average speed? There are fast speed reds that do more damage. Let’s look at average red speeds that have been released recently that are better.
Black Caesar. More damage and better fiends/minions.
Ukkonen. Similar damage and better versatility and usage.
Norman more damage and great functionality.
Sparklight doesn’t hit all five, but still hits 3 very hard.

Since I can easily and quickly create a list of average speed recently released red heroes that are better than Abigail, I have to say this is by far the worst secret hero yet. I mean 0.1% chance to get for a limited time, and Meh.
Synapsis.
Too slow. Depends on minions that are too week and easily destroyed. Over estimates insanity.
You could make Abigail fast speed, and I think people would still be hesitant to use her.

I don’t really trust any of the insanity heroes to be effective on defense. after the first cast… 1/2 the time they are going to punch themselves in the face.

Abigail has a passive that involves damage reduction when insane. All damage is reduced by 5 for each 10 insanity up to a max amount of 50% reduction.
