Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

Element: Nature/Green

Mana Speed: Average

Special Skill: Force of Forest

  • Deals 130% damage to all enemies.
  • Summons a Forest Familiar Minion for all allies with 18% HP 13% HP and 13% attack inherited from the caster.
  • All allies regenerate 411 HP 243 HP over 3 turns.
  • All enemies get -34% -24% mana generation for 3 turns.
  • Element Link gives all Nature allies +10% critical chance for 6 turns. This effect can’t be dispelled.

Vela Beta Info & Stats

Attack: 743
Defense: 729
HP: 1303

Class: Druid
Resist: Minion Effects – The Hero has an innate ability to resist incoming negative effects and damage from Minions.
Element: Ice/Blue

Mana Speed: Fast

Special Skill: Aquatic Outbreak

  • Deals 150% damage to all enemies.
  • All enemies receive 208 Water damage over 4 turns.
  • All Fire enemies get -54% attack for 4 turns.
  • Deals extra damage against Fire.
  • Element Link gives all Ice allies +10% critical chance for 6 turns. This effect can’t be dispelled.

This is call nerf, this is not call balancing.
Healing of 240+HP? what a joke.
And where is Guin balancing?

For the benefit of everyone, I think Monthra’s comments needs to be made almost at the top so more people can see it:

For those who think she is still a good tank, well, you are wrong, she’s constantly being defeated by vanilla 4* and not viable as a tank.
The current beta Telluria is totally useless. Can’t heal can’t tank can’t attack. A 4* dressed up as a 5*.

Reduction in heal over time of telluria is too much. This will definitely cause an uproar to those opposing the nerf. The minion health is already reduced anyway.

At least bring the HOT to a respectable level. At first i was asking for a class change to conflict with vela but with the removal of the extra damage against red, it will not be necessary anymore.

But i have a feeling that this extra damage will not be removed, instead only reduced and if so, a change in telluria’s class to druid may be necessary.

They need to focus on Telluria’s STATS not JUST her special. I agree with the Mana reduction change, but her health and defense are WAY TOO HIGH!

Getting rid of Vela’s extra damage to fire is too much and the only thing that made her decent. There is no need to remove it.

Healing and minions is reduced too much now. Even Tarlak heals better.

Vela - also overnerf.

This beta confirms to me Small Giant is on their way to decline, and they care nothing about their player base. And they have no clue how to balance a hero.

Keep in mind that they are there for testing. In battle, as defense, as attack, against titans. That is not a definitive change.

It confirms what I thought. That players are seen only as fools with big wallets. Well, as they say, you trick me once, it’s my fault. But you won’t get me twice.

I will nerf my spending and balance my budget.

seriously, this is way too funny, i can understand a nerf for telluria, but nerfing vela over gravemaker is just ridiculous, are they following insight of top alliances who all own gravemaker?

do they even play their own gme?

there are so much more heroes way stronger then vela,… gravemaker, finley, ursena, seshat just to name a few

Yeah, I think the healing reduction for Telly is WAY too reduced. Could be worse though, like her mana speed changing or only hitting 3 instead of all enemies. Still would be usable with the change to minion HP and mana reduction, but most annoyed she’ll be lackluster as a healer.

Why take away extra damage against fire from Vela altogether? Just reduce it…
