regen Regen At the start of each battle, this Hero regenerates 420 health over 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:no_entry_sign: Resists: This Hero has the innate resistance against ailments that affect accuracy. This does not apply to status effects from allies.
:hourglass: Ability: This hero gains a small amount of mana when a minion owned by them is destroyed.
:dizzy: Special Skill: En Garde
  • Deals 340% damage to all enemies
  • Lifts all cleansable status ailments that affect attack or defence from all allies and randomly distributes them on enemies.
  • Element Link summons a Nature Minion for all Nature allies with 6% HP and 10% attack inherited from the caster.

Special thanks to @Garanwyn & @zephyr1 for assistance on summoning odds and proofreading for this section.

It’s important to remember that HOTM have very low summoning odds. No amount of summoning will guarantee a HOTM.

On average, in a 10-pull, you have a 12.3% chance of summoning the HOTM.

But that statistic can lead our minds astray in exactly how our odds play out as we continue summoning.

Some useful insights:

  • 73 times out of 100, you’ll get a HOTM by pull 100
  • 95 times out of 100, you’ll get a HOTM by pull 229
  • 99 times out of 100, you’ll get a HOTM by pull 352

Putting that in Perspective

  • 27 out of every 100 people won’t get the HOTM by the 100th pull

  • If 1 Million players each summoned 100 times, 270,000 of those players wouldn’t get the HOTM

  • 5 out of every 100 people won’t get the HOTM by the 229th pull

  • If 1 Million players each summoned 229 times, 50,000 of those players wouldn’t get the HOTM

290% damage to all is pretty nice. I am annoyed though that she does not redistribute debuffs before dealing damage, as that would cleanse attack debuffs and put defense debuffs on enemies for extra damage. Kinda like artwork though.

A defense with Freya or bera as a tank…and a mana booster (misandra/ariel/odin/mica/) should make her beastly

For events and tournaments she will shine. Also vfw
Events in legendary that hit all will be useful.
She is cool but the other special don’t meen alot attack n defence chucked back imo can be too late n game with slow mana.
Frigg and odin say who this clown :smirk::woman_shrugging:

If you don’t have frigg but have Odin, bertila is a half decent consolation/stand in for her

Odin and frigg work as they fast.
Bertila is slow it wouldnt work, the secondary defence doesn’t even apply to dot blind etc. So your defence may get hit with def down you gotta charge her up to swap it back to make that effect work. I played with in beta gave emblems had hard time to find a boss who gave def down and attack was somewhere in S3 like almur. That affect is generally pointless in a raid but in other parts of the game she bee cool. Personally I wouldnt bring to a raid or put on defence.

i just thought bertila is a blue Yunan , decent one but hard to find the heroes that synergies with it as it is slow mana…

I just fail to get Bertila with 89 EHT (I do get 3 Krampus + 1 Santa).

I can use 24 pulls at costume in the middle of the month. Should I make another attempt at her or should I save the keys to boost my chance to get Uraeus next month?

Also failed to get the HOTM, although I only used around half the EHTs you spent earlier. Lucky for you to get all those Krampuses as also wanted one, too. But I will have to settle with Mother North as my 1st legendary in Santa’s Challenge since 2018.

Anyone already picked this new HOTM yet? It’s just odd for me not able to pull a HOTM with those 47 EHTs spent within the minute the switch of HOTMs occurred as I usually get them with far fewer EHTs or coins in the previous months. I guess getting 5 Reubens out of free pulls last month exhausted me of HOTM freebies this month.

I also am hesitating spending 100+ of my hoarded masquerade keys this month even if costumes for Marj and Leo may already be released. We’ll, I guess it will depend who will be featured then since they have a bit higher chances than those non-featured. We will soon see.

I’ve pulled Bertila. Spent 24 EHTs and did a 10-pull looking for Mother North (got 4 Reubens, so stopped pulling in Dec). Still no go as far as MN is concerned, but Bertila showed up as a consolation.

I was thinking of ascending Zocc next, but now wondering whether Bertila would make the cut ahead of Zocc
