special-boost Special Boost At the start of each turn, this Hero’s Special Skill deals an additional +30% damage for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:hourglass: Ability: Marked by the Old Ones
All damage is reduced by 5% per 10 Insanity for this character up to a maximum reduction of 50%.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Cuts of Hulu
  • Deals 330% damage to the enemies on the edges of the enemy formation and inflicts 25 Insanity on them. If only one enemy alive, the damage and Insanity is doubled.
  • The enemies on the edges of the enemy formation resist healing and receive 250 damage per each resisted healing for 3 turns.
  • Inflicts 45 Insanity on the caster.

Heroes become stronger when teamed with other unique Heroes of the same family.

Cultist family
Bonus for 1 / 2 / 3 Heroes:

  • +20% / +30% / +40% defense.
  • +20% / +30% / +40% health

  • Hero name is changed from Secret Hero XI to Rashan.
  • Attack is increased from 1091 to 1145.
  • Defense is increased from 1048 to 1067.
  • Health is increased from 1771 to 1816.
  • Damage is increased from 300% to 330%, and Insanity is increased from 20 to 25.
  • Self insanity is increased from 40 to 45.

I don’t like heroes where i can’t choose who they hit… And 25 insanity seems… Meh. I didn’t I’ll get her with my 6 pulls, but still…

Interesting to see a lowly (yet useful) 3* from Puzzle Combat make an appearance in Empires as a 5*. The picture will fit good, but the ability isn’t powerful enough to make him a 5*.

I like playing with Insanity, it’s fun. I use Nikole Kidman Dolores already and it’s fun. I’ll definitely max up Rashan. It’s my only red very fast meta hero. Good luck on pulling everybody and enjoy those who pull him already. cheers !

Insanity is useless on this hero. He get 45 insanity every time he throws his special but enemies get only 25 by hit. So after 3 specials, the next will be for his teammates and he has to fire two more times to give 100 insanity to the last 2 enemies hit at first (if they are not dead yet of course)

I think they are assumming people will lhave multiple insanity heroes so that it will be much easier to get the insanity to 75-100%% on enemies without taking as much yourself.

Much much much easier to do that with 3+ insanity heroes lol.

Could be a nice pairing with Xiaotu. Have Rashan hit the edges, and Xiaotu hit the center of the formation so that nobody gets healing, and they get hurt trying. However, if the opponent’s healer gets Insanity, then this wouldn’t work out.

Some of the Lovecraft stories have tribes who use other words like “Tulu” (The Mound) or “Clulu” (Winged Death) instead of “Cthulhu” to refer to the same entity. So I guess “Hulu” is supposed to be another one, while trying to avoid the actual names and variants used by Lovecraft.
