I have already pinged staff about the “next raid tournament had not been scheduled yet” message.
There is nothing official or unofficial about there not being a tournament this week so I expect it may be a carryover from the database issue which caused the game outage on the 12th.
Pretty firm on the center trio (might swap cCarver and Isshtak’s positions) but not sure about wings just yet. Bat doesn’t do nearly enough damage until half the team is dead, but then he still might not be able to turn the tide, plus average speed and wing really don’t mix well. Might replace him with Balthazar (w/ CB) since he’s the hardest hitting 3* purple at fast speed.
Kvasir i think plays very well in no heal tourneys. Im thinking of bjorn, kvasir, brienne og, bjorn, melia. I think og brienne might be better on defense since more tiles will hit than slash attacks.
I agree that kvasir is great for no heal tourneys, but I think he might be better suited on offense. For defense, I think the objective is to try kill as quickly as possible. Melia will help with that by attacking all and crit buffing everybody.
Yeah, I hate that about 3* costumes. Their costumed abilities are usually never fully leveled. Try to feed him 10 green 1s or 5 green 2s and it will raise you up a level by 100%.
Here’s the defenses of the top 10 finishers from the last
time this tourny ran. My at home free time is getting scarce due to the amount of overtime I work because of the virus so I may not post these in the future. They can be found in the thread for the previous tourny towards the end and Guv provides a link in his first post for these past tournies.
Was setting up my defense and wanted a defense down hero and thought Buddy would be excellent. Scrolled down through my 3 stars. No Buddy. Scrolled back up. No Buddy. Then I realized why. Think I’ll work on this tomorrow.
I would definitely not go mono for defense. True the strong color is banned, but then the attacker could just stack green and yurple however they liked and will always be neutral.
Chochin and cCarver overwrite each other, and cCarver’s mana slow can’t be cleansed, so cCarver should be flanking instead. But in any case the double Bjorn team is better.
I have no green option for a tank other then Grevle, so it means I’ll have to be creative on this one… Not to mention that red is probably my strongest colour. This is going to be a nice experiment.
