:game_die: Slightly Adjusted Summoning Odds

These are the same that went live previously for Knights of Avalon and Pirates of Corellia.

The Summoning Odds are still very similar to before, with slight adjustments.

Please note that Challenge Event Heroes are amongst the lowest odds of any Hero in the game. Even with a large number of Summons, you are very likely not to get Challenge Event Heroes, particularly 5*.

I highly recommend setting and sticking to a budget for Summoning to avoid overspending and frustration.

APPEARANCE RATES
Rare Classic Hero: 63.1%
Epic Classic Hero: 20.8%
Legendary Classic Hero: 1.5%

Rare Event Hero: 7.9%
Epic Event Hero: 5.7%
Legendary Event Hero 1.0%

BONUS DRAW
Legendary Hero of the Month: 1.3%

:orange_circle: New Challenge Coins

Challenge Coins can be received from Challenge Event Rewards, as well as from new “rare enemies” called a Suspicious Chest that appears at random in Challenge Event Stages.

10 Challenge Coins can be used for a free Summon from the Challenge Event Portal.

Challenge Coins appear to be copper colored (more orange than EHT and ETT), and are pentagon shaped with each of the 5 Challenge Event Family symbols on them. They can be saved and used across Challenge Events, they’re not specific to one Event.

The premise of Suspicious Chests is similar to the concept of Orichalcum Seadragons appearing at random during Atlantis Rises and dropping Atlantis Coins, which can then be used for Summons. One difference is that Suspicious Chests only drop a single Challenge Coin — but you only need 10 of them for a Summon, not 100.

In-Game Tooltip Text for Challenge Coins

Used for a free summon at the Event Summon. You need 10 coins for one summon.

This item can be received as loot from a Rare Challenge Event enemy.

More Details on the Suspicious Chests

They appear at random in a mob/monster slot. 3 useful things to note:

  1. The Suspicious Chest have an Elemental Barrier that reflects all direct damage and status effects from the same element.

  2. The Suspicious Chest is “Invulnerable” and “Shielded,” which means that it’s “Vulnerable to damage only during the turn before it attacks.” This is an intrinsic attribute, not a Status Effect, so it can’t be dispelled, and shouldn’t be removable, even by Guardian Chameleon. The Chest shows the word “INVULNERABLE” below it at all times, and the pop-up information when you tap and hold on it shows “Shielded,” along with the explanation above.

  3. Defeating the Suspicious Chest adds 5000 bonus points to the Stage Score.

:triangular_flag_on_post: New Stages, Bosses, and WE Costs

There are now 15 Stages for each tier of the Challenge Event (Rare, Epic, and Legendary), and they have new Bosses and WE costs, many of which are effectively reduced vs. the current Challenge Events.

@Mariamne has prepared an update to her fantastic infographic:

:spiral_calendar: New Event Duration & Schedule

The starting time for Challenge Events has shifted backwards one day, and the duration has been extended from 3.5 days to 5 days.

This will of course provide more time and WE to complete Stages, but will also likely affect competition as well.

:tada: New Rewards

The Rewards have been fairly radically improved.

The brackets are still broken up by number like the current Challenge Events, not percentage like Raid Tournaments, but the brackets are vastly larger, and the loot for lower brackets is substantially improved.

There are also more Emblems in the Completion Reward for each Tier.

@zephyr1 Thank you for your post! Those links seem to be old ones and link to the Corellia heroes. :see_no_evil:

Thanks! I had updated the links at the bottom, but not the ones in the hero list. Those are updated now too. :slightly_smiling_face:

I looked for the monster list and bosses with the new version like memento5 do, without luck. Anyone have it?

@Mariamne will post it in the first hour after the event starts, like always. It’s not available till then.

Tyvm for the answer :sunglasses::wink:

Ok we ready to go…

I’m so much waiting for this event. I have been very unlucky in last wonderlands, my only event hero is captain of diamonds

I hope to do some nice pulls and I love this new style of events. Trying to win as many WE bottles as possible to be able to raid like a crazy later when Atlantis rises.

I got saved some gems from the recent offers and by not pulling much last month. With new heroes and Neith and not really tempting perspectives on Atlantis and Dec/Jan hotms, I plan to go at least 30 pulls at this event. Hope to not get disappointed!

My targets, in the order of desire, are - White Rabbit - Queen of Hearts - Captain of Diamonds.

I don’t really want another blue sniper so Alice is meh to me, Hatter already has Kingston preceeding him to the potions, that dragon guy would wait for tabards too long.

Don’t have to explain why I want rabbit, qoh would be a decent red to give my rings to and place on my defense. Captain will be great against the minion filled ladder on Santas Challenge.

Competition wise, I am barely keeping up with battle items for titans so similar to last months I will only aim for the tier with extra world energy flasks, item free.

I am DEFINITELY gonna complete epic this time on my main as I need those pally and ranger emblems.

@Aunty I wish you luck in the pulls and have you leveled your Capt of Diamonds yet?

I love the events! I don’t think I’ve not finished them in a long time.

Riddles has been a fun addition & the new heroes will make things more interesting again!

In terms of my goals, I aim to place middle tier on all three challenges once again. Usually in Rare & Epic I am in the first tier that gives Raid & Titan flasks in addition to the WE flasks. Legendary I’m too lazy to try placing beyond the WE Flask tier.

I will probably dump 20 or so summons on this event… I already have 1x of Neith so don’t want to go toooo ham BUT want shrubbear and the Cat (missed him the last couple times). Will also take any of the other 5* heroes as I don’t yet have any of them… Personal preference would be for Alice & White Rabbit but any of them will do :stuck_out_tongue:

Queen of Hearts would be cool, but I don’t really want the hassle of leveling another fire hero. Not complaining, but not specifically looking forward to her. Alice, is neat, and would be a welcome addition to the the bottom of my hero roster, but a low priority she would be really.

Cheshire Cat looks fun, as does Captain of Diamonds, and I low-key want The Hatter. Plus with the family bonus… but I have no heroes from this event. Last time it was around I was a fairly new player, so I didn’t even do summons.

I already said in other threads, I don’t want/need Jabberwock. Don’t really care if I get White Rabbit. Shrubbear is where I am aiming. But I look forward to this event and will post deets as they crop up.

What is the reflected color in this event?

Green.

20 characters.

Thanks.

Not my best color though.

I didn’t think Capt of Diamonds had any value 5 months ago, so I fed him to heroes that were more valuable to me at the time. I only started playing when Margaret was hero of the month. My bench is a lot deeper now, so I’m sure I’ll keep one of him, if I pull him this time. Alice is at 3/70, so I’m hoping for QoH, Hatter, White Rabbit (!) and Jabberwock (!!) Shrubbear will probably show up, since 3*s are more common than 4s or 5s, and I’ll get around to leveling him for events, same as Vlad, Vodnik and Bauchan, eventually. I’m light on holy heroes, so I’d be happy to pull Neith too, but I’m saving EHTs for Christmas. My plan is for one or two 10 pulls, but I may do 3

Have Cat and Capt from first go. Definitely doing at least one 10x although I know I’ll be pulling 3* with my luck. Have a few I want from this event…

Looking to try and get some more wonder land heroes to compliment Cheshire. A rabbit and jabber would be nice but as I’ve never pulled a 5* event hero I’m not holding my breath

Main aim is to get into top 10k for rare, 5k for epic and 10k of ledgendary. Any higher is a bonus
