All of your heroes receive stat boost based on their rarity:

:gift: Stage Gift

If you buy the Love Booster, then a :gift: icon will be shown after each stage, which you can open after you finished that level.
If you buy the offer after you have completed some stages, then you are still able to open the gifts for the already completed stages.

Each stage gives either Food or Iron Bundles (50k / 100k / 250k), and some additional items.

List of Stage Gifts

All of these are above the regular loot what you can get from the Lunar New Year challenge.

@birksg has created a guide for these:

Total amount of summons you get from the Booster alone:

  • 300 Gems
  • 120 Super Elemental Coins
  • 80Covenant Coins
  • 3 Epic Hero Tokens
  • 25 Loot Tickets
  • 1900K Food
  • 900k Iron
  • 1x Fine Gloves
  • 1x Alpha Aether
  • Bunch of (Master) Trainer Heroes
  • Bunch of basic battle items

The Lunar Year Heroes receive additional perks if you use them in the event.

 Easy, Normal and Advanced Modes

There are now three Modes for the Seasonal Event — Easy, Normal, and Advanced. You can play any or all three, and must complete each Stage sequentially in that mode to advance, but you can start with any tier what you want.

:triangular_flag_on_post: Stages

Unlike other Seasonal events the Lunar New Year has got only 10 Stages per Difficulty Mode.

There is a total energy requirement of 38 WE for Easy, 68 WE for Normal & 98 WE for Hard; with a combined total of 204 WE for all 3 difficulties.

:no_entry_sign: No Hero Restrictions

Unlike Challenge Events, there are no restrictions on Hero or Troop rarity in the Easy, Normal, and Advanced Modes. There are also no restrictions on Hero Classes, unlike Class Trials.

You’re free to use any heroes you’d like!

:repeat: No Replaying Completed Stages

Unlike Challenge Events, Seasonal Events don’t allow replaying a completed Stage — much like how Quests & the Ninja Tower work.

Once you beat each Stage, it’s locked, and once you beat the entirety of the Seasonal Event, you can’t play any more.

If you fail at a Stage, you can retry as many times as you’d like, up until the Event ends.

:star2: Epic Hero Tokens Can Be Used for Seasonal Summoning

kép

The Seasonal Summons replaces the regular Epic Hero Summons.

Because of that, unlike Challenge Event Summons, the Summoning Portal for Seasonal Events allows using saved up Epic Hero Tokens that can otherwise normally only be used for Epic Hero Summons.

That makes Seasonal Events the only place you can currently use Epic Hero Tokens for a chance at non-Season 1 heroes.

You’ll also have the same chance at the HOTM as usual when using Epic Hero Tokens. As the event active in January and February too so you will have the chance for the January and February HoTMs: Roughian & Nurgib and Viselus.

 Festive Stronghold

The Stronghold and the several areas of the base is decorated with lampions and various items.

Just came here to say I absolutely love the music playing during the stages of this event. I have even turned it on as a podcast from some Youtube Gameplay video at times. Don’t judge me!

I like the music too! made sure to turn on the sound effects this morning so I could enjoy!

also digging the variation in gameplay. I really enjoy the seasonal events in general for this  nice shake-up from the usual.

153 coins used only magni comes :(((

this 0.8% to get featured hero seams like:( :exploding_head:

The booster definitely isn’t worth the money.

I do like the decorations around the stronghold though

68 pulls (including one 10x) and all I got was Khagan. Getting S1 5* at 1.2% while even heroes are at 1.3% definitely sucks. Moreover I did 1 pull in Dunes, 7 pulls in W3K and 10 pulls in Covenant (those cheap offers from web) and all of them gave me nadda, not even HotM. So 86 pulls for Khagan. My terrible luck continues lately …

Finished the event. Now, I might be misremembering this with the Season of Love event doing this, but didn’t last year’s Lunar New Year give 3 EHTs? 1 from Normal and 2 from Advanced? Did they nerf the rewards in this event from last year’s? Might have to skip this event now.

Disappointed they didn’t update the stages for this event. No new Chinese heroes as the bosses? Not even the new feature dragon and ox. That’s nonsense

I looked at the previous year’s topic and it only lists 1 Epic Hero Token so I guess that’s normal.

A post was split to a new topic: Lunar New Year - Avatar reward is not granted

Done for this year…

Until the next seasonal event!

I came here to say that this event is a terribly missed opportunity to give out a cool dragon avatar. Instead they went for the other Guy. I can’t believe it.

I have a question about perfect 10 bonus.

“The hero received from the Perfect 10 Bonus will not be a duplicate of the other Summon results, if options remain available.”

I’ve already got Laohu since last year’s Lunar event. If I get a lunar 5* from perfect 10 bonus this year, (I know the odd is very low. Just in case it happens!) Is it guaranteed the 5* that I get is one of Lunar 5*s except Laohu?

Thanks.

Wishful thinking, but if you know how goblin pulls work, the same probably goes to perfect 10. You need to be lucky that you score one of the chinese animals on top of the perfect 10. If all the planets align and you get all four chinese animals in the 10 pulls and a perfect 10 on top of it, then that p10 would be a dupe

I’m sorry for my Englsih. Sometimes I have struggle to understand English. I’m not an English speaker and I’ve never lived where English is commonly used. What I just want to know here is simple. I know it’s so-called wishful thinking. Actually, I think it won’t happen that I get lunar 5* cause the odd is very low. I mean… I just want to know whether Laohu will show up if I do that summon X10. The only lunar 5* that I have is Laohu which I got last year’s lunar event (not this year!) and I don’t want to get a dupe. It is almost impossible to get a 5* hero from any portal with small pulls. I know it. Can you understand what I mean? OMG… Foreign language… So difficult :frowning: Thanks, BTW.

Having laohu already doesn’t mean you won’t get another laohu in a perfect 10. It’s still up to RNG to decide

What I meant was not just x10 pulls but the bonus draw. I should have made that clear. Thanks, BTW.
