Stage 10

Sabina - Proteus - Rigard - Boldtusk - Gormek

For Legendary you really need a good team of 4* 4.70 or preferably 4*+15 / 5* 4.80 heroes.

The difficulty goes from a ramp to a cliff from Stage 9 to Stage 10 ( see notes)

Teams

4* 4.70 heroes Rigard, Proteus, Boldtusk are standard on my Challenge event teams.

I am not sure if other heroes might be better or if it is possible with 4* 4.35 heroes.

I skipped Challenge events until Atlantis Rising ( must get all the World Energy flasks ) and Emblems ( must get all the emblems).

World energy

World energy is free, but without a team of 4*
4.70 heroes, I would complete the Rare and Epic before trying the Legendary.

Leveling

As a general rule I recommend

2x rainbow 3* 3.50 teams
then
3x to 4x rainbow 4* 3.60 teams
then use 3* ascension items
2x rainbow 4* 4.70 teams
then
2x rainbow 5* 3.70 teams
then use 4* ascension items

They also didn’t account for the additional challenge of all those Special Skills going off together. If everything were to remain identical, just going from 2 bosses to 3 bosses would already be an additional challenge… but it’s not just that. It’s all of it combined. That and the Queen of Hearts recharges her mana WAY too fast.

If it were just a 10-20% increase in health the challenge would have felt reasonable by compare to Stages 6, 7, 8, and 9… but 74% PLUS a 3rd boss?

Both stages went down pretty easily considering what I was expecting, and with no useable 5* heroes. Here’s what I took to each fight:

No problem with the mobs, but without mana control, the bosses were just firing too often. Five axes, five bombs, five dragon attacks (only one burned through it’s DOT), and I was still worried. Used 18 small health potions, and finished with Grimm and Tiburtus barely standing. Worth the items for the loot, but dang, I hope I have Proteus next time around!

Train camps and Hero XP

Another rule of thumb: you find 4* to 3* ascension mats about 1:3. The long term limiting factor is color specific. Taking green as an example:

6 tonics : 18 shields

That will max one 5* green (6 tonics, 8 shields) and leave 10 shields, enough to max two 4* (Or take two 5* to 3/70 and leave them stuck there.

Given the greater cost to level up and rarer mats, I recommend that starting players work two 4* rainbow teams before starting on 5* heroes, even if they manage to acquire them.
