Or: How many summons are needed to get a Valhalla Featured Legendary Hero?
Below odds are current as of June 30, 2020. Odds will change as additional S3 5* heroes are added to the ânon-featuredâ hero pool.
Itâs important to remember that Season 3 Valhalla Heroes have EXTREMELY low summoning odds. No amount of summoning will guarantee a Season 3 Hero.
On average, in a 10-pull, you have a 1.43% chance of summoning Fenrir.
But that statistic can lead our minds astray in exactly how our odds play out as we continue summoning.
Some useful insights:
13 times out of 100, youâll get Fenrir by pull 100
51 times out of 100, youâll get Fenrir by pull 500
76 times out of 100, youâll get Fenrir by pull 1500
89 times out of 100, youâll get Fenrir by pull 1500
95 times out of 100, youâll get Fenrir by pull 2073
99 times out of 100, youâll get Fenrir by pull 3186
Putting that in Perspective
87 out of every 100 people wonât get Fenrir by the 100th pull
If 1 Million players each summoned 100 times, 870,000 of those players wouldnât get Fenrir
5 out of every 100 people wonât get Fenrir by the 2073rd pull
If 1 Million players each summoned 2073 times, 50,000 of those players wouldnât get Fenrir
More Insights & Reading
I highly recommend reading these threads for more information and context on summoning odds:
If youâve read them a million times before, you may consider reading them again before deciding on your budget for summoning. A little time spent deciding on how much money you want to risk on summoning goes a long way to avoiding disappointment, frustration, and regret later.
Can someone educate me, perhaps I miss the point. When enemy is below 50% health, I can in many cases also finish with a random sniper (typically, enemy is not exactly at 49%, even somewhat lower). this sniper also hits harder when enemy is above 50%. sure. mana gain is always cool.
I am not saying it is a poor hero, but versatility compared with a hard hitting sniper is lower. No?
I think in future this might become more useful against the heroes that have âtemporary HPâ added by the likes of Heimdal. I think then it should deal 600% (?).
But right now he doesnât seem any better than Magni or Misandra.
did not yet thought about titans, but at the end most damage is derived from tiles. so i prefer, attack buffer, elemental defense down, defense down and high tile damage heroes at the end.
I agree. His attack stat seems solid for tiles, and although special attack is normally secondary to Tiles on Titan, fast %600 may be valid as well. Remember 600% can be more than +20% dmg over 500% attackâŚ
I actually likes Fenrir. Heâs a little squishy, like kingston, but I like the fact that there is one hero now that can finish off tanks with <50% left.
Itâs an interesting thought, people with Kage might be able to answer that one. Iâm just angry that now I have to check HP and do math every time I want to use his special
Pretty cool hero at first glance though, I like the idea of a âfinisherâ
Yes, his versatility is lower in general compared to another sniper.
The restriction on his skill power for when enemies have more than 50% of their health is to balance his self-heal and the mana gained from defeating enemies / minions.
That does restrict him to be a finisher.
For me, Magni â Fenrir on the same target worked really well when raiding during Beta though.
A lot of thought on thisâŚFenrir is a MUST HAVE. In a world where people are screaming Seshat is OP (I have two Seshat Max) Fenrir is designed to take her, and other minion heroes outâŚat first thoughtâŚ600% of the highest AP Sniper in the game (Or damn near) is what we called in WoW âOver Damageâ or way more damage needed to kill a hero below 50% health anyway. But minion heroes, Seshat especially, will often be below 50% health but ALSO have 2 or 3 minions up. Thats 242 health per minion without emblems and (for me) 285 with emblems. Fenrir will cut through the minions AND kill seshat in one shotâŚheal 50% of the SUPER SHOT, and get mana bump from killing Seshat and 3 minions. In a meta where minions will be everywhere, Fenrir is the Boss (No Offense Boss Wolf) but there is a new pup on the block. Grats to all that pulled the pup.
Edit: Pairs so nicely with Ariel on anti-telly team. He is meant to cut through those minions
My Fenrir is slowly crawling through to first ascension (1/38 now), but I started using him during farming just to see how he works. So far the damage he deals to boss monsters with less than half of the health is comparable to damage that my Athena +13 does. He has 435 base attack now, and will have 780 base attack when fully ascended, so the damage will be quite high.
Basically, if you use him as a finisher, he becomes a Very Fast hero and heals a lot. He will work especially well against heroes resurrected by Mother North, finishing them and killing both the hero and the minion, instantly getting nearly 40% of mana back.
Very interesting hero, will definitely max him out.
He gains 40% mana from a single kill if they have 1 minion? Thatâs amazing. I was lucky enough to get this guy and I think Iâll max him before Vela. Heâll make a great combo with Kage. Kage is a starter, Fenrir is a finisher and maybe theyâll charge at the same speed after Fen gets a kill.
Havenât measured exact mana gains yet, need to find a monster with minions to test. Maybe someone who has Fenrir at least at 3/70 can help with testing?
We need a screenshot of Fenrir right after finishing a hero with a minion. I can measure the mana gain after that easily.
Hopefully in the coming days weâll get some of this info. I wonder if âmoderate amountâ always refers to a particular number, because when he kills a minion they differentiate that mana gain with âsmall amountâ
